Waited 40 minutes to get battery tested and it still never happened on 3/1/26 @ 2:15pm. I waited patiently and nobody would help me.

I gave this place of four, based off my experience today, and based off a prior experience. My prior Experience was great. I thought I needed my battery recharged. My car wouldn’t crank at my home, I got someone to boost me and came immediately to the store. The store manager took a look and realize that my positive terminal was loose. I didn’t need a new battery or for it to be charged. He checked my percentage of the battery and it was 100% good. My second experience was terrible! There was a young African-American man with short locs at the counter. I asked him if he could test my sensors in the system to see why my tire sensor is on. He asked me if I knew how to use it, I told him no, but if he told me, I could probably do it myself. Immediately I saw the look on his face and body language that he was irritated with having to help me. Initially, he was going to have me do it by myself, even though the store policy said the associates will help with that. I understand that there may be other customers that need help, but that’s why they have numerous associates on the shift so all members/customers can be taken care of accordingly and with great service, which I did not receive. He came outside, hook my car up. He was gonna leave me with the gauge. I asked him if he thought if that’s a good idea, anyone could leave with the meter and steal it. I told him it’s his job to check the gauges for us. He stood with me until the evaluation was done, and snatched the sensor out of my car and didn’t say a word. I followed him and ask him does the results show on a meter. He was rude with his response and said no with attitude. I would hope that a young man would be manly enough to help a woman with her car needs. The meter gave me a false report, and I will have to go to another AutoZone to get a second opinion. I spoke with the manager on site to let her know of these associates behavior. She said they normally allowed customers to take the sensor meter to check their car and bring it back. I told her anyone can steal this meter, in the stores they cost anywhere between $30 and $50.
