Thank you to Bobby especially and also Shawn and Kelly for making my oil change as painless as possible. I have been dragging my feet on this chore and then I got a tire pressure warning that forced me to have to do a walk-in service. I was worried I was going to have to wait an hour but they guided me into the garage right away. Bobby let me know what my options were as far as services and they did a quick inspection which revealed my cabin filter was indeed nasty. I added on the cabin filter service and my tires were over on pressure which Kelly fixed then Shawn did my oil change and sent me on my way. Convenient and painless. Prices were overtly stated, no hidden fees and Bobby even informed me about coupons on the official website. The place is easy to get to and even if there was a wait there is plenty of parking. I will be coming back for my next oil change
Trey is vivacious and full of life, never had such a friendly experience at an oil change place. Didn’t pressure me into buying anything but presented the facts and the price and seemed knowledgeable.
Fantastic service with a smile! Brandon and the team provided exceptional today getting my oil change for my 26 Kia Sportage. If you’re looking for quality service come to Valvoline for your next oil change!!

I waited for over an hour an ten minutes last Friday at 900am to be pulled into a bay for an oil change last Friday. I started in the middle lane, was moved to the far right lane, then finally to the far left lane after waiting for over an hour. There was only one car in each bay when I arrived. The same two people were changing the oil in all three days. A 15 minute oil changed turned into a 2 hour around 27 minute ordeal. Very unhappy with how this shop running and it is a new location.

I went to the Valvoline on Chen Parkway on Saturday, April 18, 2026. I went in for a simple oil change. I went directly home and to work on Monday, April 20, 2026. Tried to go home and never made it down the street from my job as the check engine light flashed on my car. My car is not driving well. Constant jerks as I attempt to accelerate past 20 miles per hour. I’m incredibly irritated!
I pulled over to check my oil as that was the only service I’ve had on my new car. The oil looked brown. I called Valvoline on Chen Parkway and spoke with Trey and explained everything. He suggested a closer Valvoline on Panola Road because he believed I could not make it to Stockbridge. The Panola Road location was a three minute drive. It took twelve minutes. As I drove in to the service area on Panola, the crew was expecting me and after a some time waiting, they were able to go right to work. I was told that the oil was not changed and the bolts were loose. Irritation turns to extreme anger!
So I start to recall details of my experience at the Valvoline on Chen Parkway on Saturday and explained to the crew on Panola Road that the Chen Parkway Stockbridge crew member Schwan spent my entire service time trying to upsale me on services I did not ask for or need. Schawn starts to repeatedly tell me how dangerous it was for me to leave without the additional $700 in services he strongly suggested. No matter how many times I said no, he kept talking and fear mongering. So, as I sat with a flashing engine light on Monday and a paid for oil change, that was never changed, I’m freaking pissed! I went to two other places that responded the same as I explained in this situation with my engine. The responses are bulged eyes, shaking heads, no good words for Valvoline, and a confirmation that this company is notorious for damaging cars, particularly car engines, intentionally, to make customers return to their store for service/money. Where is the humanity in causes car damage and potential accidents and Heaven forbid, harm to people for a sale? I have in two days been incredibly inconvenienced and paying unnecessary money because of Schawn and Josh and Trey and Valvoline! DO NOT GO TO VALVOLINE ON CHEN PARKWAY! Unless you want to lose your car!
