The team ran all the tests and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. It turned out my battery needed to be replaced, and even though there were a few issues along the way, the team stayed patient and made sure everything got taken care of…. K.T. and Iggy were the technicians who installed my new battery, and they were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure my car was good to go before I left…. KT especially was great. He was very friendly and knew so much about his job. I’m so grateful for how patient and helpful the whole team was. What could’ve been a stressful car problem turned into a really positive experience. Huge thanks to Monica, KT, and Iggy for all their help! Shout out store #981!!!
- DFDebbie FowlerOct 5, 20251.0I stopped at AutoZone on Austell Rd today because I encountered a dead battery this afternoon, I received a jump and headed straight to get a battery check and new battery. I had previously purchased a battery and it was installed by the AutoZone on Mableton Parkway in 2021. After confirmation that I needed a new battery I went inside and made the purchase. The young boy at the counter slid my battery forward and said there you go. I said, y'all don't install them, he replied, not yours because you have that bar thing. I said, the AutoZone on veterans memorial installed my last one and I, at 71 year's old, picked up my battery and took it to my truck to have to return inside to ask for a jump to crank my truck and leave. I wish I would have had a 13mm socket to remove the 4 bolts from the fender to the cab gusset for this young man so it could have saved me a $22.00 core, a return trip with my old battery and 15 minutes installing the battery myself. I have realized that future visits before purchase to inquire if the store i am purchasing items from have employees who are trained and capable of performing services advertised.
