The store itself was clean, well organized, and fully stocked, which made finding what I needed easy and stress-free. The staff made sure I left feeling confident about my purchase and even offered helpful tips, which I truly appreciated. Car stopped working wjen I was picking up my baby from school. We had to uber home with tje car seat. Called the store and one of the managers was nice to offer help to come next day to jump start the car. I called next morning to confirm je can still do that But another store manager Paul gave me attitude and said for me to come to store to buy a jump starter. How am I supposed to do that. I am a mom alone with my baby I would have to uber with my 10 month old to tje store And jump start the car alone. He offered no useful help and said have a nice day and hung up.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
