Came to Mavis today fifteen minutes before closing with a deflated tire. David, Drig, and Fritz took my car in and found the nail that another shop missed. They stayed past close to patch my tire for me and even let me watch. They are kind, professional, and funny. I will be taking my car back to be serviced by their team!

Brought my car in for 2 tires to be rebalanced, and an oil change, right off the bat, good prices, Lady at the desk was very respectful and helpful. Mechanic was very good, took care of the vibration I was having. Only reason I dropped one star off was, I'm a mechanic, work at a shop too, I respect the desire to be fast, but putting my lug nuts back on with the impact can be terrible. Studs have a level of elasticity in the metal and designed to handle specific loads. I had my calibrated torque wrench on the passenger seat with the oil I provided and lug lock key. My lugs were torqued between 90 and 150lb-ft, the need for proper torque is to avoid discrepancy between lugs. All lugs should be within 2% of each other, so for my vehicle requiring 100, that is 98-102lb-ft. It wasn't a huge deal for me, I retorqued them properly, if too much is applied to a stud, it could cause damage to the stud, lug, wheel, hub, or brake rotor. I hope they could plan to be a little better on this, overall, I would bring my vehicle back here if I need something done.

My husband and I were returning from a long trip when we unexpectedly got a flat tire. It was cold and raining, and we still had almost three hours left on our journey. We searched for a nearby tire shop and found Mavis Tire at 1510 Bass Road, Macon, GA 31210. Even though it meant driving about 20 minutes back in the direction we had come from, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the warmest and most welcoming service representatives we have ever met, Driek. He was incredibly kind, professional, and understanding of our situation. After a long and stressful drive, his positive attitude and willingness to help truly made a difference. Driek provided excellent customer service and made sure we were taken care of so we could safely continue the rest of our trip. We are very grateful for the help we received and highly recommend this location to anyone needing tire service. Thank you, Driek, for turning a stressful situation into a positive experience!

Paid for a tire rotation and balance. Mechanic finished very quickly. After inspecting my vehicle when I returned home I discovered that my tires had not been rebalanced or rotated. Also paid for an oil and filter change. Oil was changed but filter had not been replaced. Will never use this store again.
