  Gerber was AWESOME!! From the initial call I received to get my vehicle scheduled for repair all the way through to picking up my vehicle. They were kind enough to set up my rental from enterprise. Staff there were friendly and efficient and fast! Upon picking my vehicle up it looked brand new! Not only did they wash the outside it also appeared they cleaned the inside as well! I know that as long as I’m in Macon and ever need auto body work again Gerber Collision without a doubt would be my choice! Thank you guys!

  Gerber collision lack communication.. on 02/20/26, there was a voicemail on my phone stating that pick up date has been changed ( once again ) to 02/24/26. Cool ain't nothing I can do about it. Well someone from Gerber called me. I missed the call so I called back. Upon calling back I was told car was ready. Pick up around 5 5:30 and they'll start getting paperwork ready for me. I'm at work. I had to go back in forth with my employer just so I can leave and be there at 5:30. Call and catch a ride cause I turned in rental that I've had for 3 weeks cause car still not ready. Why when I get there car is not ready........... Front desk lady say she left message. Not knowing someone else called and said it's ready.... But yet nobody knows who called.... Wasted my time and playing with my money. Drive all the way there and ain't no damn car... And lost hours from work.. So noooowww they claim Monday👀👀👀👀👀👀👀. Will see....... This is a update about my experience on 2/20/26. Dawan (I hope I spelled your name correct), reached out to me and apologized for the miscommunication and time wasted.. He also gifted me a gas card which is much needed in this economy right now. Thanks for taking the time to reach out Dawan... PRECIATE THE GAS

  I had a horrible experience at Gerber Collision & Glass and would never recommend this shop to anyone. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was told all repairs were complete. However, upon inspection, I immediately noticed multiple issues that were different from the condition of my car prior to repairs. When I raised these concerns, I was demanded to pay my deductible and was told that if I did not do so, the police would be called on me for trespassing. I was simply trying to inspect my vehicle before paying, which any reasonable customer has the right to do. The experience was beyond unacceptable. Instead of addressing the poor workmanship, I was given a hard time for nearly four to five hours and treated as if I had done something wrong. The communication between the shop, the manager, and the GEICO adjuster was extremely inconsistent, with different stories being told and responsibility being shifted back and forth. The supervisor, DeShawn, caused a significant amount of unnecessary drama and confusion throughout the process. He would speak with Robyn, the GEICO adjuster, and then return to me with conflicting information. Rather than taking accountability or helping resolve the situation professionally, it often felt as though he was deflecting responsibility and placing blame elsewhere to cover himself, which only made the situation more frustrating and stressful. In the end, I had to escalate the situation and go over my adjuster’s head to her supervisor before anyone finally acknowledged the issues and agreed that corrections needed to be made. None of this should have been necessary. I was also pushed to use this shop solely because it was GEICO-recommended. I originally wanted to take my vehicle to Caliber Collision, where I’ve always had positive experiences, but I was persistently directed to Gerber instead — a decision I deeply regret. Between the poor workmanship, threats, lack of accountability, unprofessional conduct, and overall disrespect, this was one of the worst body shop experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend Gerber Collision & Glass to family, friends, or anyone else.

  I took my truck in for repairs after hitting a deer and for the price they charged they did and awful job used cheap after market parts that didn't fit correctly the paint got pits all over it from improper prep and sanding

  It’s been since APRIL since I’ve taken my car to them… going on July and my car is still not properly fixed. I’ve been too patient with them & the insurance company and they both aren’t handling my car well. They tell me they will call me back and never call back. I’m still waiting on a call back.. my bumper looks like it’s about to fall off / too little but l they telling me I brought my car in like that & it’s my original bumper. Definitely did not. If it’s the original bumper, then why isn’t it fitting on my car the right way ? So over them and Progressive.
