- VMVivian McGheeNov 7, 20251.0I stopped by Mavis on Thomaston Road on Sunday morning,19 October 2025, to have my tire air pressure checked because my vehicle’s low pressure indicator light came on as I was driving on I-75. It appeared to be the manager that told the technician to check my air pressure. When he came to the car I had to ask him if he wanted to see the label inside the door to know the correct PSI. He agreed and I asked what would he be putting in and he either said 50 or 60. I immediately had to tell him NO! I had to show him that the PSI is 36., He said he thought that was high, but failed to double check!! I left thinking I was safe with my grandson in my vehicle. Thank the Lord he kept us safe that day and afterwords. I guess it was the Lord who guided me to have my tires checked on 6 November 2025 at Discount Tire in Warner Robins. Two technicians informed me that all my tires were overflated with a PSI between 50-53, and that my vehicle was a blowout waiting to happen and I and any passengers could have been seriously injured or worse. It is very important that Mavis Tire hire trained professionals who have the expertise to service customers’ vehicles. It could be a matter of life or death! Thanks to the Lord who kept me safe from harm and to the technicians at Discount Tire who serviced my tires correctly. They had to release so much air to get it to the correct PSI.
