  Highly recommended! I’ve been to this Mavis several times and they’re amazing! Very professional, genuine, polite and will go out of their way to try to help you with any issues you have with your car.

  I want to take a moment to recognize Cowanna for her outstanding service I received from her at Mavis Tire. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly kind, caring, and patient. She treated me with genuine respect and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood my options and felt comfortable with the service being provided. What impressed me even more was her professionalism under pressure. At one point, it was possible to hear her supervisor speaking to her over the phone in a very harsh and disrespectful tone. Despite that, she remained composed, gracious, and focused on helping me. She did not allow that moment to affect the quality of service she gave. Instead, she continued to show remarkable patience and professionalism. Her character truly stood out. It is rare to encounter someone with such a beautiful spirit who continues to treat others with kindness even when they themselves are not being treated kindly. Employees like her are the reason customers return and trust a business. Please make sure she receives the recognition she deserves. She represents the very best of customer service, and Mavis Tire is fortunate to have someone of her caliber on the team.

  I had an amazing experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes - Thomaston Rd. The team was professional, honest, and very trustworthy from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, and got the job done quickly. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but this location definitely earned my confidence. Highly recommend!

  very unprofessional. asked for a tire change and for some reason they went underneath the hood of the car which resulted in issues with the tire pressure sensor. the tech had to google what was causing the issue with the sensor. after 2.5 hours of waiting they fixed it only for me to get home and park the car and 3 hrs later the same tire pressure was down to 16. will not be back, buyers beware

  Rare Integrity and Accountability – Cowanna and Tracy are amazing! ​I cannot say enough good things about the team at Mavis on Thomaston Road. I haven’t been able to visit since January 2025 because my car was sidelined after being hit from behind, sitting for five months while insurance sorted the claim. I finally went in today for an oil change, only to find out that something hadn't been done correctly during my last visit over a year ago. It was an oversight that was going to cause an additional charge from the dealer. ​Instead of making excuses or ignoring the issue because of the time that had passed, the Store Manager, Cowanna Duncan, and the RTM, Tracy Grant, stepped up immediately. They took full accountability and responsibility for the error. They are having the car repaired and covering the costs entirely so I don't have to pay a dime out of pocket. ​Even though it’s a slight inconvenience to leave my car for a couple of days, I am more than happy to do so because of the honesty they showed. It is so rare to find a business that takes ownership like this. Cowanna and Tracy went above and beyond to make things right and they have truly earned my trust. If you want an honest shop in Macon that stands behind their work, this is it! Lady Vee
