Came in for a brake check the other day and two guys were behind the counter. One of the guys suddenly went out into the shop and left the other guy to help me. I was quoted close to $900 for brakes when I only needed pads. When I told him they were under warranty from another store and done a year ago he said he couldn't warranty them because the store that originally did the brakes gave me "too good of a price" and "I stole the brakes at that price". What difference does it make what I originally paid for them? Do you not honor warranties from other locations? He immediately started bad mouthing one of the managers from the other store and said "Oh, that's why he doesn't work for Mavis anymore, for doing stuff like that". I don't remember exactly who it was I just know they gave a good deal because I didn't have much money at the time and they wanted to make sure my car was safe to drive. Not sure if what he said is true or not but as an employee you shouldn't bad mouth other employees ESPECIALLY in front of a customer. I would hope this isn't normal practice here, just seems like bad business etiquette to me not to mention over quoting me for things I didn't need. Maybe someone should have more training on how to speak to customers and actually quote what's needed instead of quoting what you think you can get out of someone.
The experience left a bad taste in my mouth, shame because I've never felt that at other locations. Not sure I'd recommend this particular store I'll just go to the others that have been good for me and I'd recommend no one to this location.

Made a 10am appointment to get tires rotated and brakes checked. I arrived at 9:45am, checked in and handed over the keys. An hour later and my vehicle was still sitting in the parking lot where I left it and not one person ever spoke to me or let me know they would be running way behind. Dont waste time with scheduling service online as the appointment time means nothing.

I am a regular customer, came in on 12/26/25, never had met the young later at the counter, before I even told her what i needed she in a abrupt tone said it would be a 4 hour wait. At that point I said I just need for someone to test and make sure my censor on my tire had gone out. Once again in her abrupt tone repeated no matter what I needed it would be a 4 hour wait, at that point I just left, didn't need the attitude. Charlotte Owens

The manager at this location, her name is Kimberly and she is awesome. She made sure I got the best deal! I really appreciate that. She also made me feel comfortable about my decisions. Coming here alone, with just my kids it can be a little intimidating with majority of males working in this field. It was nice to see another woman when I walked in, another black woman specifically. Mavis has always had my business but this location will definitely be seeing me again! ☺️
