  DO NOT GO HERE. This location has very low skill employees and very high wait times. IMPROPERLY installed my air filter causing a loud noise in my vehicle, also did not know how reset my oil life meter on dashboard even though my car is a very common vehicle. Any response to this review from Valvoline is damage control for the management here.

  My experience has not been satisfactory at this location. The first time I had an oil change, it was a major leak so I had to drive back there. Second time was fine but this third time, it happened again & the experienced technician was not there. A lot of young guys there. I drive a BMW & wanted to get this done ASAP. Will not be returning.

  I was searching for a new place to consistently get my vehicle serviced. The technicians were professional and friendly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, which I’m not accustomed to. If you want to have your car serviced appropriately, in a timely manner, come to Valvoline.

  Worse visit I have ever experienced at valvoline or any other quick oil change facility. I was serviced on Friday 12/26/25 I arrived approx at 5:04pm. I saw 5 cars back up and go somewhere else and I watched 5 valvoline service members with no type of urgency or working with any effort. I brought it up to one team member and a manager DJ. The team members didn’t finish until 6:57p almost two hours later. The mgr “offered” a discount but his hands was tied because I’m a USN Veteran already eligible for a 15% discount, so in his words there was nothing we could do. If you want fast reliable honest service please do not come to Valvoline on Panola Rd. I’m going back to Jiffy lube

  I used to go to the Valvoline Express off Lavista in Tucker for years. They recently shutdown and I had to pivot. since I love down the street I have now visited this location 3 times and I'm still debating on whether to find a new oil change home now ☹️ I must say their customer service is PHENOMENAL. They are all very kind and respectful. No complaints with their workers at all. My main issue is with their wait time and the order they go in. I can only say I must be used to the tucker location which I never waited longer than 5 to 7 minutes. On a rough day nothing over 10-15 minutes and they only had 2 open garages not 3 like this location. They made sure to go in order of who pulled up first. My first visit at this location was on a Thursday morning around 9am (they open at 8) and I got my oil changed. I waited about 20 to 25 minutes before they started on my car. Due to the way they direct the cars they go out of order so it doesn't matter if you got there first you may still end up waiting longer than someone who pulled up after you. My second visit was a few days later I actually had to double back around because they did not properly secure my engine splash shield and it was scraping the bottom while I was driving. When I came back to have that fixed it was a Tuesday around 11am and again I waited about 20 minutes. I am here now for my third visit y'all...I will give perspective and say Thanksgiving just passed so alot of people drove and traveled, it is a Friday morning and it was literally 11:39am when I pulled in so all of this plays a role in the wait time but I am now in this moment just pulling into the garage for my oil change and it is now 12:58pm I AM NOT LYING. I am in utter shock I have been here just waiting OVER an hour not even getting an oil change completed yet & other cars who have pulled in after me are getting theirs done before me because of how their directing the cars, the worker who's doing the change and the car in front of you who may or may not need extra stuff. It baffles me a little. They need to go in order, have people wait in a straight line and pull up according to who came first. All in all they do get the job done and once again, their staff has great attitudes and are very kind. Valvoline gives coupons on all their oil changes too so they have reasonable prices. I will also say they get way more traffic here than what I use to see at Tucker location. I still deducted one star for the wait and the other star for the splash engine shield incident. Nonetheless I DO recommend you come here but just come early early when they first open which is what I will try next time and update my review on the wait time then.
