- DDDragonBardic3 days ago1.0Afternoon on a Sunday: Ladies room had NO toilet paper, 4 rolls all empty. Bathroom was a nasty mess. One guy working register with 8 people lined up, so I went looking for another employee to ask for help. Stepped behind the coffee center, poked my head around the doorway (did NOT go IN to the back), found a young girl washing dishes. Asked her very politely if she could send someone to give us TP for bathroom. She pulled a very cranky face, and said "I'll get it, but you're not supposed to be in the back of the store." Fine. By the time she got in there 5 of us were waiting to use the toilets. She came in grumbling to herself. Trying to be nice I said "Thank you! I'm old and can't hold it long, and appreciate you stepping away from what you were doing to bring us the TP." She immediately lit into her complaint again (nasty tone) about "You shouldn't be in the back of the store. You should've asked the guy at the counter." I'm like, "He was by himself with 8 customers waiting." She snaps "Well you still should've asked HIM!" and again with ranting about "back of the store." I think she was angry someone MADE her do a part of her job she didn't want to do, and the only way she could act out on a customer was to non-stop chastise on something ridiculous. When she gets old I hope someone makes HER hold it a long time, see how SHE likes that pain (it hurts). We'd become regulars, but we are NEVER stopping at this Racetrack again; "Miss Nasty Attitude" saw to THAT. Girl, I've worked my butt off at Waffle House for $2.14/hr. and NEVER treated customers like that, not even the mean or drunk ones. You were given kindness and respect, and gave rudeness in return. Grow up or get out.
