Experienced professionals. Met the manager Mike with stripped lugs and they were able to fix quickly. I would recommend this store for anyone in and out of the neighborhood. In and out in a Friday!

Manny at Mavis Tires & Brakes was awesome. CAme in to get my tires changed. He took the time to answer all my questions clearly and didn’t rush me at all. What really stood out was that even though they were close to closing, he still made sure to address a concern I had with my tires. That level of customer service is rare and definitely appreciated.

I had a pretty frustrating experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. I came in as a walk-in to replace my two front tires after being told by another shop that they were getting worn down.
After the service was completed, I immediately noticed a humming/buzzing noise while driving that was not there before. At first I wasn’t sure what it was, but it continued consistently. On top of that, my tire pressure light was still on even though I had just gotten new tires. I tried resetting it, but it came right back on, which clearly indicated something wasn’t right.
When I called the shop, they told me to come back in. They “inspected” my car and claimed there was an issue with my shocks, which I immediately questioned because that did not align with the noise I was experiencing. The explanation didn’t make sense, and it felt dismissive rather than investigative.
They also told me the tire pressure light was on because air had not been added to the tires. That was surprising and concerning, properly inflating tires is a basic part of a tire installation, so hearing that raised even more questions about the quality and completeness of the service.
After having my vehicle checked elsewhere, I was informed that the noise was actually due to a wheel bearing issue, something that was directly connected to the tire installation. This was especially concerning because the problem did not exist prior to my visit.
It’s really disappointing because I came in trusting that my vehicle would be handled properly, and instead I left with new issues that didn’t exist before I came in, along with a diagnosis that did not address the actual problem.
I would definitely recommend double-checking your vehicle before leaving and being cautious if you’re expecting thorough service. I will be following up directly regarding this issue.
