    I was greeted very quickly and they got my oil change started very quickly also. All the employees were very friendly. They were not too pushy on extra things needed but did inform me of what might be needed on the vehicle , which is helpful.

    I am writing this review as a disappointed customer of almost 20 years. Yesterday(Wednesday October 15th around noon), I went to my local Valvoline oil change shop for my routine oil change but also to get my tires rotated. The oil change went smooth and I was waiting in their lobby waiting for the tire rotation to be completed. A couple minutes in I was informed that the technician working on my vehicle had broken 2 of the wheel lugnut studs on the front driver side tire. Of course I was angered by this as I was going out of town (driving to Key West Florida from Atlanta) and I needed my vehicle. The technician apologized and informed me of a shop (Global Tires) 3 minutes around the corner that could repair the broken studs and that Valvoline would cover the cost of the repair once I returned with quoted price on my receipt. I was given a card with the service manager name and phone number to contact. The technician even stated that the turnaround is usually pretty quick. I proceeded to Global Tires who then informed me that the issue could be very easy or difficult depending on what they find when they get the tire off. As I was just a walk in my vehicle had to stay overnight for repair. I checked in this morning(Thursday October 16th), and was informed that my studs were so badly damaged, that my wheel mount was now compromised. They had to replace it. I advised them to proceed as I needed my vehicle back for my trip the following morning. The job ended up costing me $630.62. I paid and got an itemized receipt for the work. I called back Valvoline with the information they provided me to discuss the reimbursement that I was owed. I was informed that the service manager would need to review the case and get back to me. My call was returned by the service manager Eddie who informed me that I would not be reimbursed because I did not provide them with a repair quote before I got the car fixed. I once again informed them that I was already referred to Global Tires for the repair and that I just needed the cost information to give them. There was no period of shopping around as it was imperative to get my vehicle fixed before Friday morning. Needless to say I will definitely be pursuing some form of legal recourse. It is unfortunate because I was a loyal customer for 2 decades. No longer. I will be taking my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same.
