- DSDeAnna SavoryJun 24, 20252.0I normally don't write reviews for a gas station, but I wanted to let others know. I have never been in such a dirty, gross Race Track before. I go to Race Track all of the time. I usually go to the one in Snellville off of Scenic Highway or the one in Loganville, off of 78. This location was disgusting. The bathroom smelled like a cesspit, none of the toilets had been flushed, and the floor was dirty. The soda fountain area had a sticky floor with lots of dirty foot prints as though it hadn't been mopped for a couple of days, and there were straw wrappers on the floor. The crushed ice was out of order. The rest of the store seemed unkempt. A timer in the cooking area was going off for half the time I was in the store. If you have sensory issues or anxiety, this can be quite stressful. Not a big deal, as I know that is my personal problem. The glass doors were covered in in dirty hand prints from top to bottom. The staff at the check out were pleasant, but also seemed a bit apathetic. I know full well that these kinds of jobs are thankless and difficult. Perhaps they were short staffed this particular day. Perhaps it is hard to keep up with cleanliness due to being under staffed or very busy with many customers. It was not busy while I was there. I know that a lot of these issues were things that can be caused by careless customers who don't clean up after themselves. I was just surprised by the lack of cleanliness, as usually Race Trac stores seem very clean. All of these things are not worth a review on their own, however, all together, they add up to one red flag: If all of these public facing areas of the store are filthy and poorly maintained, than what are customers NOT seeing behind the scenes?
