- TSTony SellnowApr 12, 20261.0I was at this truck stop on4/12/26 at around 9 pm at night had been here doing a 34 hr restart , I went in to get something to eat I knew that the deli might be closed so I had decided on the subway will as it turned out they still had a couple things out and the subway was closed( no one showed up for work per flying j cashier)so I ended up getting what little was left from the grill food which again wasn’t much( grilled chicken and fish(the fish was so bad I wouldn’t have fed it to my dog) and a few other things when I went to the cashier he was working with a women who after a lengthy time couldn’t complete her transaction by this time a line of people were there all locals he ushered them down to the store side and took care of them then decided to take care of me and when confronted with this smiling he said he didn’t see me I was less then 4 ft from him it doesn’t take much reasoning to figure out this flying j value,s it local population more then the truck driver that it advertises for I will never buy or stop at this truck stop again I would advise other truck drivers to do the same if they value the local people that much let them have the place and let’s see how long flying j corp. puts up with it( something tells me it wouldn’t take long after losing that kind of money but again who knows maybe flying j wants it that way)
- JSJoe SchausMar 31, 20263.0Large truck parking lot clean showers with hot water though very small. We'll stocked convenient store on site. That is the good now for the not so good. The laundry is pathetic dirty and most dryers don't work. 1 load went through the complete dryer cycle and was still wet so only 1 dryer out of 5 working and they all are disgusting, I spent a good 15 minutes cleaning the one's I used. Washing machines they have 3. Two work but again disgustingly dirty soap spilled and the floor is very dirty hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Pilot Flying J can do better and other locations do. Hope this helps
