This mistake cost me unnecessary time and an extra trip. I called Mavis, explained the situation, and was offered a $16 discount for the trouble. I returned to the original store and had to wait again, after already waiting about 45 minutes the first time. When it came time to check out, the total was not what I was quoted on the phone. The employee at the desk told me I had spoken to a “call center in New Jersey,” even though I dialed a local number, and said they don’t know Georgia fees or taxes. I was then charged extra for balancing and calibration related to tire pressure sensors, which was never clearly explained or agreed to during the phone call. Between the incorrect tire information, wasted time, inconsistent pricing, and poor communication, this was a very disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this location and would advise others to double-check everything they’re told before committing to service.
