  I visited Mavis today because car was showing low air pressure, and due to back pain, I wasn’t able to check them myself. The staff was more than willing to help and quickly discovered that there was a nail in one of my tires. I truly appreciated how professional, courteous, and efficient the team was throughout the entire process. Their willingness to assist and their quick response made a stressful situation much easier. Thank you for the excellent service!

  They quoted me one price then tried to overcharge me. Oh course they tried to sell me everything I didn’t need. Unprofessional with customers and each other. Even given the middle finger to each other where customers could see. Save your money go to Akins! I would have gotten my brakes at Akins but they don’t do them on Saturdays anymore. Take a day off and go to the professional from now on! Not dealing with these clowns ever again!

  Will helped me out to get four new tires, an oil change, and my headlights cleaned. He was extremely nice, attentive, and communicative. He also let me know that my brake pads needed to be replaced and quickly added that to the fix. I felt very cared for and I’m very pleased with the work I had done here. Will definitely be back.

  I walked in to ask about tire prices and how their service works because I’ve never been to the company before, but I had to initiate the conversation and the guy acted like he was inconvenienced. They did not have any other customer there at the moment I walked in. When I ask if there were any deals he gave me the prices to the cheapest tires. When I asked if they had a specific type of tires he tried to look it up and blamed everything on the computer being too slow. I asked if I could have a print out so I can look it over at home he couldn’t give me a print out or anything. I was disappointed.

  There are much better options. .. Took wife's car to this Mavis (new one very close to our home). .. Left car there for oil change/tire rotation around 10am. Two different mechanics called later and left messages to say "car is done and ready to pick up". When i dropped off my wife to pick up her car at 4:45 they told her that a miss-threaded bolt on one tire could not be removed to rotate the tires. Why was no mention of that made in two different messages that our car was ready? They claimed it must have been the last place that the car had tires rotated. Suspicious that no mention was made in either message left for me that our car was ready. One of the messages was even left by the mechanic that worked on the car. No way to prove Mavis actually caused problem so I took car back the next day and was told they could fix it for no more than $50 and they wouldn't have to charge for a new bolt/nut as they had those on site. When i was able to bring her car back (today) i was told that they would not charge for materials/parts but the labor would be $130. Suspicious, was the fact that the price for repair went from initial $50 quote, up to $130 today, then eventually to "the lowest we can do it for is $70". I was the first customer there today and they pulled car into the farthest bay from office. The only other car that was in a bay was the one closest to the office. When one of the mechanics noticed i was trying to watch our car the other car close to office was raised just high enough to block my view, (but not high enough for an oil change), and it was left unattended with no work started on it from about 8:10 to 8:30. I decided to refuse work on our car. As i was starting to drive away after declining their "lowest we can go" offer the guy hurries out to tell me "my manager just told me we can do it for free". I kept driving and took car to another (older, farther away) shop that fixed the problem in a little over 30 minutes for $50. If a shop can't be trusted to stick to a price. .. or be transparent, and honestly give you timely information . .. and they act like they have something to hide, then even "for free" is not worth the risk.
