  Never again will I take a vehicle to this store. Justin is a condescending punk trying to sell things I know I dont need. Refused to align my truck that had all new parts on it and balance my tires. Go somewhere else if you want good service.

  I was driving home after a 24 hr shift, a tractor trailer truck knocked something into my lane that I couldn't avoid, within minutes my back left tire pressure was dropping so quickly! I was on hwy 129 headed from Gainesville to Jefferson, I stopped and got air at QT then crossed my fingers that I could make it 3 miles to Mavis Tire. Well I made it, pulled in on my rim! Mavis was not open yet but I dropped my keys in the door, they placed my spare on, filled it up with air. When we went to pick up my jeep they said it was no charge! I couldn't believe it, they were so kind and helpful! Thank u Peter and Will!! Yall made my day

  Great place! I pulled in with a flat right at closing and Nick and these guys went above and beyond to help get me a spare tire on and on my way. They wouldn’t let me touch a thing to even help. Such a great act of kindness and now another forever customer!!! Super friendly and very professional staff! Thank you again!!

  Women beware 0 Stars I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Mavis Tire. My wife brought her vehicle in for a routine oil change on Tuesday The car has never leaked oil prior to this visit. ,as the car is garage kept and not driven daily we discovered a major oil leak that dumped oil onto our garage floor when she went to leave Saturday morning I called the shop and spoke with the service manager. Instead of taking the concern seriously, he was rude, dismissive, and took zero accountability. No inspection was offered, no solution, no attempt to make it right. He just said that it was leaking prior to service ( it was not ) An oil change is one of the most basic services a shop provides. Causing a major oil leak and then refusing to address it is unacceptable. Based on how this was handled, I have serious concerns about the integrity and professionalism of this location—especially how customers are treated when something goes wrong. I would strongly caution others, particularly women bringing their vehicles in alone, to think twice before using this shop.

  Check your Invoice!! Dropped vehicle off for oil change and asked them to check for a leak (I'm seeing leak drops under my car where I park). I told them to put Synthetic blend in. He said it would be ready in about an hour on Friday night and I said I'd be back around noon the next day to pick it up. Snowed and Iced that night but I called to see if they were open and the vehicle ready. Phone just rang. No one answered and it never went to voicemail. Not a big deal, I expected them to be closed. Called again Sunday, same result but Monday is coming and I need the car. So I take my spare key and pick up my car which has been moved and the Oil Life has been changed, so I expect the job was done. Great! Plan to come back Monday morning to pay. So far so good. Tell the counter clerk I had to pick up the car the night before but needed to pay the bill. Says $84. I asked what was done in that price and immediately get an attitude of "just an oil change. Full synthetic. Those tires are too worn to bother rotating". The attitude was not appreciated to start my morning. I told him I had said to use the blend. He "offered" to drop the total to $78. Then proceeds to say he tried to call me Saturday. Not unless he called from an 888 unknown caller number and didn't leave a voicemail. I told him I had tried to call them also but the phone just rang. At which point he turns his back and starts to walk off. I ask if they saw any leaks under the car and without turning around says, "no", and keeps walking. So either he's lying or they didn't check for a leak as asked. Again, I know there is a leak, just don't know where from. I suppose Mavis can afford to loose a customer by lying, marking up jobs to cost more, and having a generally crappy disposition. I'm pretty sure a couple of those things could be construed as fraud or maybe even theft. You were so close to providing a good experience, and then just totally botched the landing. I look forward to sharing my crappy experience with anyone and everyone. So if you want to deal with this sort of dishonest business, come on down to Mavis spend more than you should to have your patronage taken for granted.
