  Mavis Jefferson saved us MONEY! I had Pep Boys Athens do my brakes and rotors a few months back but scrubbing sound started this week. So, Mavis showed us that grease had not been applied to the front brakes and the wrong grease to the back brakes. Mavis could have changed the brakes and charged us the full price but did not! Instead, the applied the correct grease and all is good! Thank you so much for being honest and service oriented!

  Thank you Mavis Tire they saved us in the upmost way . My boyfriend Jason and I were traveling back home to NC from Ala on New Years Eve when out tire went out on I 85 we put the donut tire on it went to next exit praying bc the other tire wss wore out too calked Kia , our car is under 3 year warranty, with roadside assistance yeah pay $1050.00 up front and you might get back some $ no no no . I Google searched called first one it was Mavis they do not do roadside at all but hadnt had much business thst day so yeah they had the tires gave us a price came and picked up Jason amd the two tires he bought tires they mounted and balanced them then brought him back and put them on the car all within a few hours for $300 . Thank you Mavis Tires in You really saved our lives on that cold New Years Eve evening we woll never forget the hospitality you showed us by going that extra mile for us . We will definitely be buying tires and service from Mavis Tires from now on. I advice everyone to check them out. I pray everyone had a happy safe holiday as we sure did with the help from MAVIS TIRE getting us back safe on the road headed to our home. Thank you guys so very much. God Bless You!!!

  Will the Owner and Steve the Assistant Owner are amazing people. Will is the epitome of a kind, generous and caring human being. Steve took time to entertain my little fella and connected with us while we waited on own car. Superior customer service! The price for a new tire and oil change unbeatable. I’m so glad I decided to give this shop a try today. I highly recommend for any of your car services. Great staff and teamwork!

  My wife and I had an engine issue with our car while on the interstate and had it towed to the nearest auto shop, which was Mavis Tires & Brakes in Jefferson, GA. It was near closing time and we told them what the issue was. They do not do deep-dives on engines, but said they would take a look either way. They confirmed that our engine was basically shot, but encouraged us to have a second opinion at the manufacturer's dealership. By this time, the shop was almost closed but the manager offered for us to stay as long as we needed to get logistics worked out. Not only were the employees generous and understanding, but they allowed us to use their waiting area (with our large dog) while we waited for another ride. Even though we didn't have tires or brakes serviced, we asked how much to pay for their time; they refused payment. It is difficult to explain what a stressful day it was, but the employees at this location made us feel welcomed and did everything they could to assist us (even offered to take us to a local hotel, which we declined). I cannot speak to their actual services, but the customer service was top-notch and my wife and I are forever grateful to the manager and his team.

  I had an appointment today at 8am to fix my tire. At the time, I realized that I couldn’t pump my tire because it had a deep hole that a nail was piercing the tire deeply. I called Mavis and the mechanic and picked it up. I asked him if Mavis had a towing service, and he said he wasn't sure if the company had a towing service, and he directed me to the receptionist. Furthermore, I asked the receptionist the same question, but he had an attitude and, with an annoyed tone, that I must call Jefferson Towing and hung up on me without me saying any more words since I had an appointment at 8. This is unacceptable service—0 stars. I had other questions, and because of him, I will never use this service. They opened here recently and have that kind of attitude already?
