    Today, February 28, I went to Mavis to get an oil change for my SUV and install new tire pressure sensors. My appointment was at 11:00 AM, and I arrived at 10:30 AM. Nick assisted me — he was very kind, respectful, and provided the estimate, which I approved. I asked how long it would take, and he told me between 2 and 2.5 hours. I also asked what time they closed, and he said 5 PM. Here is where the problem starts: I returned at 4:00 PM to pick up my vehicle, and I was informed it was still not ready and could take another 1 to 2 hours. I asked if at least the oil change had been completed, and they told me no — nothing had been done yet and they were just about to start. This felt very disrespectful to me. It had been six hours since I dropped off my vehicle, and no work had even begun. I asked Nick if there was anything he could do for me, perhaps a small discount, since I work in the customer service and hospitality industry and understand that when a mistake happens, you try to make it right for the client in some way. He said he couldn’t do anything and that I just had to wait. The bigger issue was another employee (apparently a manager) who, with a poor attitude, said something along the lines of: “What difference does it make if it’s 6, 7, or 8 hours? We’re very busy today and had 30 other tickets.” I was honestly left without words by that response. I asked if anything at all had been done to my vehicle, and the answer was no. So I told them to just give me my car back and forget the whole service. Customer service is everything. At all times I remained respectful, and I truly expected a different response or at least an attempt to offer a solution.

    I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I can’t let this one slide. I visited Mavis Tire on January 23, 2026, for new tires on my dually. I called two days in advance to confirm they could handle a dually, since not all locations can. Antonio assured me it would be no problem, ordered the tires, and scheduled me for a 10:00 AM appointment. When I arrived, the technician told me he could install the tires but could not rotate them due to the wheel size. I told them I didn’t want the job done unless everything could be completed properly. Antonio and the technician spent about an hour calling other stores looking for an attachment. Eventually, they found one in their shop and continued. About an hour later, after watching the technician run back and forth to the machine multiple times, they called me in to show me a gouge they had put in one of my front wheels. Antonio admitted the technician used the wrong machine and told me they would fix it at no cost. I agreed and continued waiting. After another two hours and switching to a different technician, the job was finally finished. Antonio took my name and number and said his “wheel guy” would contact me to repair the damaged wheel. I took photos and left. Two miles down the road, I noticed two rear tires were severely underinflated (55 PSI and 41 PSI). I returned to the shop and told Antonio. The technician attempted to fill them but said he didn’t have the proper attachment to reach the valve stems. I suggested removing the wheels to fill them properly, but he said he could not do that and walked away. I ended up buying an attachment from AutoZone and filling them myself at home. Since then, I have never heard from the promised “wheel guy.” I have called Antonio twice and gone into the store twice, and each time I had to re-give my name and number with no follow-up. At this point, I have been more than patient. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The service is unreliable, the workmanship caused damage to my vehicle, and management does not follow through on their word.

    This was my first time here at this Mavis location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had ordered my tires for a Wed service and an hour after my online booking I was informed immediately about The late arrival of my tires and my appointment was rescheduled right away for the next day when my tires arrived. The facility is well kept, very clean environment. Convenient seating if you needed to work with charging ports. They work along side the JCHS with their sports team to provide discounts with a purchase of the high school sports team discount book! Go PANTHERS!

    I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes thanks to Michael. From the moment I walked in, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me straightforward pricing, and made sure I understood my options without any pressure. The service was fast, efficient, and done right the first time. It’s not always easy to find someone in this industry who combines honesty with great customer service, but Michael definitely does. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re coming in — five-star experience all around.

    I had a great experience at this Mavis location! George was so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! I had an issue with resetting the TPMS light and vibrations due to unbalanced wheels. Bill and George took care of the TPMS issue by clearing the fault codes generated by the old faulty sensors. Then, Bill rebalanced the wheels that solved the vibration issues. Bill showed me to be very knowledgeable, professional and, at the same time, friendly in explaining the issues to me. Thank you to both George and Bill for a job well done!
