  They let me know I had to much oil completed a full synthetic oil change as I waited in my truck on the coldest day of the year. Professional and on time. Thanks. Well come again.

  First time experience ever with Valvoline. At the Grovetown location, Logan serviced my vehicle. Amazing communication of the issue presented, respectful, helpful to his team (and vice versa), and with a grateful attitude. I appreciate this location, and will be a frequent customer. Thank you!

  Last Update (Week of November 13): SN::Check to make sure everything is ok before leaving! The manager contacted me that same week to discuss the complaint I filed with corporate. He began by stating that he reviewed my service record and saw that an oil change had been performed. He explained that the diagnostic code showing on my vehicle typically indicates an issue related to airflow, possibly from a pipe or another component, and initially stated that this would not be related to the oil change service they provided. Once he finished explaining his position, I clarified what actually occurred during my visit. I explained that when I came in for my oil change, the technician checked my air filter and asked if I wanted it replaced because it was dirty. I declined the filter replacement. I then informed the manager that after my visit, I researched the diagnostic code and learned it could indicate excess air entering the system or a possible air leak. Upon inspecting my vehicle myself, I discovered that the bolts securing the air filter housing had not been tightened properly. This caused outside air to enter, which is why cold air was coming through and triggering the code. After I tightened the bolts, the cold air immediately stopped. I also shared that although I corrected the physical issue, the code still appeared when I visited AutoZone. However, as mentioned in my previous update, Valvoline employees later cleared the code for me. After hearing this, the manager acknowledged that the loose air filter housing could have caused the issue and apologized. He asked what they could do to resolve the situation. I told him that if I experience any future issues related to the air filter housing being left unsecured or any resulting damage, I will be contacting them again. As of now, I have not returned to AutoZone to recheck the code, but I plan to do so soon. Original post: I have been trying to get in contact with someone. I got my oil change they asked about the filter and i said no. My engine was feeling jumpy but i thought it was because of the weather change. I am out of town my car engine light comes on after engine feeling jumpy. We got to advance auto we get a P0171. Put it online it said filter air and other things we check and the air filter is not bolted down. I have been riding with my kids. This was dangerous! I have called no answer! I am almost 500 miles away! This is sooo upsetting! This could cause damage to my car in the long run!! I drove to MS and currently stuck in ALABAMA! No one at the store is answering! Update: we have gotten the screws tightened. the engine light is now off. We will take it to a nearby shop to see if code is off! Super upset i had to call cooperate to get a hold of someone at the store! Logan said i would receive a call back today we will see! 11/12 10:50am Update: 11/12 11am Logan called right after last update and asked if i could bring the car by today. I told him i was all the way in Alabama and it would be later before i get back. Also told him after reviewing what was loose the light finally went off after fixing the issue. Hopefully nothing else is wrong will be bringing by today or tomorrow depending on when we get back in town. Thanks for the call back Logan! (Husband and I are still unsure of going back to letting them touch the truck.) Update :11/13.. went to autozone next door code was still pulling. Went to valvoline. Logan was not in a guy say he was the assistant manager too. The just looked at the car to make sure everything was tight. They said everything looks tight and they would clear the code. After, I asked for paperwork saying they would clear the code and they said they did not have anything saying that i came they could give me. About clearing a code or looking at my truck.
