    I wish I had read the reviews before reserving a vehicle and this recent experience just confirmed why I haven’t rented here since 2020. Upon arrival, the vehicle I reserved for at least six passengers wasn’t available which seems to be a common complaint in many other reviews. We were on a time crunch, but what choice did I have but to wait at that point. As I waited I heard the employees openly discussing past renters and their issues..very unprofessional. When checking, out, the employee surprised me with a $300 security deposit that I was not prepared to pay. After speaking with the manager, the general manager and then receiving no help, I had no choice but to find another vehicle at the last minute pushing my travel time even further behind. The Enterprise location in Gainesville is convenient to my daughter’s apartment but in the future I will be traveling another 35 minutes to do business with Hertz. A company that provides professional service with no surprise fees at pick up.

    I worked an assignment in VA. The agency rented me an all-wheel drive car, as I was going to a mountainous place. I ended up with an Audi A5 Quattro, s-line, instead of a Rogue or other yucky car!! My 1st weekend we got 1 1/2 feet of snow!! The car might as well have been on dry ground - it just went!! Loved having a SUV - high riding and great looking!!

    Reserved the vehicle, checked in online, picking up the vehicle was only a 10 minute wait. They did offer a smaller class vehicle to avoid the 10 minute wait, but I passed. Everyone was so nice and friendly! The vehicle could've been cleaner: exterior looked like highway driving debris, inside windshield had a foggy residue that impaired night vision and early morning driving. Update! We realized we left our wardrobe bar hanging in the back seat area of the vehicle after dropping it off. I called back around 8:30 am the next morning and the guy on the phone said nobody saw it and that he was unable to check for it because it was rented out. This is an auto attachment which serves only one purpose, not something you can just drop or leave lying around. I know it was in there because we used it on our trip. I believe an employee now has it or it's still in the vehicle. I really wish things went better than this, but people, try your best to make a visual sweep of your rental, because you cannot trust the company.

    0 for 2 for Enterprise Cust. Service and on time rentals. This is My second cancel of my reservation. Ist cancelation at the commerce location. Reserved well in advance. Came in on time. Waited for nearly an hour before agent told me of additional wait because another agent took my car to pick someone up. My 2nd was here. Blind sided upon arrival. Said I cannot leave my car. Been doing this for over a decade. Would not concede despite not letting me know of of this change. They need to adjust their management of rentals and their customer service. I am hopeful that a 3rd time may be a charm.

    The car I was given was in bad shape. I realize that because of my auto claim, I had to get the cheapest, which is fine, however this particular vehicle should not have been an option. The brakes didn’t work very well. The windows would not roll down. The entire car would shake all the time, but even worse at higher speeds. I did not feel safe, driving this car. I reached out several times to enterprise requesting a different vehicle, but never received any response back.
