Sunrise Cove Marina is named for the stunning views and surroundings, especially against the morning sunrise. A quiet cove tucked away on Lake Lanier, the Marina rests on 62 sprawling acres of beautiful timberland countryside, with an abundance of wildlife presence. A selection of slips is available with 626 opened, covered and PWC slips. Sunrise Cove is located a short distance away from the square of downtown Gainesville, which offers a wide variety of restaurants, boutiques, entertainment, and a vibrant downtown nightlife on a smaller scale. Sunrise Cove is also only four exits north of Mall of Georgia, one of the largest shopping malls in the southeast. Whatever, you’re in the mood for, you will find it close from your lake retreat from home.

    This is a nice, quiet marina. There are people living full time here and they all seem very friendly and helpful. This is one of the cheapest marinas on the lake and the staff is very friendly as well.... The docks are a little outdated, but they are currently updating things dock by dock and relocating customers while in process, with the option to move permanently or come back to the new docks at the ae rate. So not bad at all! The process seemed very fair to their current customers.. So all in all, a very nice, and affordable place to keep your boat! And very diverse as they can accommodate large house boats, to small boats as well as sail boats which was great!

    This marina is a hidden gem. You can really tell this marina works with nature, not against it! The employees and dockmates are like family. The view from our boat is stunning. I recommend this marina for people looking for fun, but also want to absorb the beauty of Lake Lanier.

    We love going to Sunrise Marina! The staff are so great and attentive. Janice is so thoughtful and thorough. I would recommend all of my boating friends to store their boat here. It is more than just a Marina, it’s a community. Feels like home.

    Had a wonderful boat rental experience recently at Sunrise Cove. It’s now our favorite Lake Lanier rental company. Newer, high quality boats. Knowledgeable and professional staff who make you feel welcome and relaxed for a day on the water. Highly recommended!
