- KDKimberly Dale1 day ago5.0Wonderful staff! I went to this location after going to a different parts store(not advanced) where I was treated with horrible disrespect. I believed I needed a new battery and needed mine tested to see. Marcus helped me and was more than happy to test my battery. He gave a lot of info and was super nice after the experience I had at another store. I was very stressed and anxious about my car. I did need a new battery and not only did he help me get the right one but he installed it for me as well even though he was getting ready to leave for the day so I didn’t have to leave the store with a bad battery and it go out again and leave me stranded. There was another guy there that checked me out but I did not catch his name. He was also super nice and retested my battery after the new one was put in to make sure it was staying where it should be, and there were no other issues before I left that parking lot. He was tall and had brown hair and a short beard. I really can’t thank these guys enough. You helped a mom get home safe and sound! Thank you!! 🙏

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
