  If there were a way to give this company zero stars, I would. I only gave one star because that is the lowest option available. I use Vanguard mainly because I have a Volvo truck and there are not many mechanics that service them, but I am extremely dissatisfied with the service here. In the past four months, I have brought my truck in at least three times, with each visit costing close to $10,000. Despite that, the lack of communication and urgency in getting the truck repaired is completely unacceptable. Every time I pick it up, a new issue comes up, and none of it is covered under the previous warranty. I have never experienced anything like this. Each time I speak with someone, I get a different answer. One person says the truck is being worked on, while another says it is not. Every visit results in my truck being out of service for at least a week, which causes me to lose money and puts me at risk of losing drivers. I am not sure if this is a company wide issue or specific to the Ruskin Avenue location in Forest Park, but either way, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else unless you can afford extended downtime and repeated expenses.

  Great Service and people! Brandon Dyer helped a lot for my purchase was easy and smooth would definitely buy again with him my sales guy!

  Honestly, this visit to Vanguard was the best service experience I’ve had at a dealership in my entire driving career. I was in need of adjusting the speed of my truck but I didn’t have the correct passcode to reprogram it. I originally was scheduled to come in the morning at 7am but was allowed to get my service done that night. Joshua Porras (Service Manager) handled the entire situation like a boss. He was patient, hospitable and articulate in explaining the process, in addition to giving me updates. Technicians Milton and Cody were exceptionally patient and persistent in servicing my Volvo. Thanks for the great experience.

  Scam!!! Stay away from this place as much as possible! I called them to see if they can take the truck in they said no problem so we towed it in after 3 days they still couldn’t do diagnostics. I had to get another two to take from their shop soon as I did that they said oh you have to pay for diagnostics over 1k all of the sudden it took them 5 min to do diagnostics after I agreed to pay they said we need to do our paper work. From desk guy was a joke needs to work as a clown instead. Said he needs one out for paper work to be done. We waited for 2 hours still nothing driver walked inside the shop they gave him bill he paid and walked out in 3 min. This place give you round arounds they don’t want to work on your equipment they make you suffer just enough so you can pay diagnostic bill and leave someone where else. Stay away scam fraud!! No wonder their locations got 2.6 stars
