- JOJOE ODOMOct 21, 20251.0I took both of my cars to Mavis in Fayetteville on Glen St Saturday morning. The guy immediately started trying to upsell me on stuff before even diagnosing the vehicles. After the uncomfortable upsell we decided to leave 1 of the 2 vehicles to be worked on to see how they did. A couple hours later I received a phone call that I needed breaks and that my suspension was leaking, so I drove up there to see the leaky suspension, and of course there was no leaky suspension. He then said it was just brakes and rotors that needed to be done. Of course after they had my brakes and tires off the vehicle they said they had a problem getting the brake parts and to come back on Sunday. I got a call Sunday morning that their mechanic called out sick and I couldn’t pickup my vehicle because no one could put back on my tires or brakes even though he and his manager were onsite, so I had to go rent a vehicle at the Atlanta airport. This was yesterday, now driving to work this morning, my truck started making the same noise I took it in for. So now, I am out $400 for brakes and rotors, $200 for a rental car and still a truck needing repairs. This was the absolute worst service I have ever received from a car shop.
