My car had a breakdown when I was traveling from DC to Warsaw, NC. My car battery needs to be changed. I wanted to get the battery from Autozone as I felt it was reliable. So, we drove to Autozone, and James there helped us fixing the battery and took extra effort to get to our location and get it fixed. I highly appreciate his gesture and his timely help.

My sister came in there needing a battery for her son's car. The guy behind the counter told her she needed the platinum top of the line $250 battery. She asked me and I told her she didn't need that one and even based on their site there was one for $175 that would work perfectly fine. He tried to tell her in confusing terms that the battery I told her to get wound work when it gets cold. Per the stats, even at freezing the battery produced 685 CCA, the car only needs 650 CCA which this one was more than enough. He told her "I don't get commission". Really, then why are you trying to sell her the most expensive battery of the four options available? Do your research people, these guys act humble but tell you to "trust us, we know what we are talking about".

I went into the store Saturday. There were two customers ahead of me. One was at the register, talking to the clerk, and the next person behind the register call the person just in front of me. When they finish their transaction, the person behind the register went and stood behind the other clerk, watching their transaction. I stood there for quite a while, and no one acknowledged that was there.. So I left no one acknowledged me leaving. I came back to state that I didn’t think that was right that they acted as though I wasn’t there. The one that helped the previous customer said she didn’t work there. I don’t understand how she didn’t work there, but she’s behind the counter took the Customer in front of me and was standing behind the clerk still behind the counter watching their transaction. I told them they should’ve acknowledge me and said something her response was I just did. I told you I don’t work at this store. I’m perplexed. Any acknowledgment someone will be with you in a moment. Anything would have been helpful And good customer service. Instead, I got a rude comment and no acknowledgment that I was a customer there to make a purchase. So I made my purchase someplace else
