  I went in for tire rotation, but ended up waiting four hours while nothing was done. They kept telling me I was next, but it never happened. Very frustrating experience.

  My wife’s car had 60K miles but had not been driven in months. We took it out for a joy ride and she received a low tire pressure alarm. She dropped it at Mavis to do a courtesy check of the tires and they told her she needed a $800 brake job because of the metal on metal condition of the brakes. The night before on our joy ride, they was no noise from the brakes, no pulling or rough stops, and no other indication that the 60K miles had worn her brakes to be metal on metal. Before Mavis took over, I trusted these guys. NEVER EVER again. I would not take my son’s Tonka truck there for fear of an unnecessary $800 brake job due to metal on metal contact. Shame on these con men taking advantage of a woman like this. BEWARE.

  Got a quote from corporate for tires. When I got my bill, it was substantially higher though no one told me about the extra charge until the work was completed. The explanation given was that “corporate” did not know what my situation called for (extra valve replacements). When I arrived at the store, person in front of me was upset about the same issue but I foolishly did not think it’d happen to me. A quote is a quote. My advice is to avoid this place.

  Im not too fond of taking my car to get serviced in fear of (stereotypically) getting over charged HOWEVER Mavis Tire in Evans held true to the quote they gave my husband. I appreciate the explanation of the issues and the solutions of my vehicle. Customer service was great and they got me in and out under 1.5 hours. 10/10 I do recommend.
