- IRIsiah RicksNov 15, 20251.0I went in for a oil and filter change. When the work was completed. I left the business and got approximately 3 miles away when my vehicle started to smoke excessively from the tail pipe and started sputtering. I immediately turned around and headed back to Grease Monkey. I explained to the manager what was going on and told him that this never occurred before my visit to Grease Monkey. He determined that too much oil was placed in my vehicle. When the manager left the area, a employee approached me and said all I have to do is drive the vehicle until the oil burns down. I know enough about a engine to realize that too much oil in a engine can harm it. I told him that and he said "no it won't ". Finally ,another mechanic came over and drained the excess oil. Please beware of patronizing this business. Either the mechanic is not knowledgeable or just doesn't care for the consumer.

I have to give a shout-out to Ebony, Ian, and Tyler for being so attentive and proactive as well. They answered all my questions—sometimes before I even knew I had them!
