I needed an oil change and was told when I arrived that they don't have conventional oil and that I would have to get the synthetic oil instead. Then he recommended an oil system/engine cleaner for $25, which he said would be good since my mileage was high, etc. Then he said my air filter and cabin air filter needed to be changed, but he was very vague about the cost. I thought he said it would be around $25/$30 each, but I couldn't really understand him. The cabin air filter was $49.99 and the air filter was $31.99. The total amount was way beyond what I expected to pay, even with my coupon. I've always had my oil changed at this location because it's convenient, and they've never charged me over the expected price for a conventional oil change. I feel completely cheated and I will not be returning to Grease Monkey in the future.

I live around the corner from this grease monkey (spalding drive), I’ve been coming here for years. Sometimes service is excellent and sometimes it’s lack luster. Every few years there seems to be a “regime change” so to speak. Went in the other day and spoke to the new manager CHRIS MITCHELL. Chris is excellent. He is truly a people person. He got everything right on my Mercedes and worked diligently to fix a prior mistake done be the previous management. As long as chris Mitchell is there you are in good hands. Trust me on this. Kudos to chris for good customer service, accountability and getting the job done right.

Refreshing, a local auto service mechanic that has great customer service skills, attentive to details, fair, responsible and transparent. Offers to service the vehicle what what it needs, not what the service center wants to sell! Meant to add names - Chris 1 and Chris 2, both were fantastic! Thanks!.

**Update to my review 4/29/26 I will not be back here. I have called and left several messages for management or someone to call me back. A day or so after getting my oil changed, I hear a scrapping noise under my car. I then notice that my undercarriage shield is hanging off (the one they take off when they're under your car). Well it appears they didn't put my screws back to hold it in place and the shield was just dragging. Not only that, due to the shield coming off and hanging , my AC started blowing hot!! I called to Grease Monkey multiple times to get someone to answer to put my screws back on my shield (no answer, left msgs). I then had to eventually leave work early and go up there right before closing and the gentleman replaced some of the screws, he said there was a lot of screws on the floor that could belong to my car. He ultimately put some screws and zip ties to hold the shield. I'm still pissed b/c that's not the condition I gave my car to Grease Monkey in. Zip ties!!!!! If they didn't know how to remove the screws, they should've said that I could've went elsewhere. Remember I said my AC started blowing hot when the undercarriage started scraping the ground, well I had it diagnosed and guess what?? Due to that undercarriage coming off, something damaged my compressor. Now I have to spend $3400 to have that repaired. My car only has 68,000 miles on it and this shouldn't have been an issue at all! While I stand on Tony and the service while I was initially there, this is NOT good business. And I still have not received a call back. Previous review: Mr. Tony was amazing. Not only did he educate me about my vehicle, he made some good recommendations. I could tell the difference in how my car ran after leaving. Fast, friendly, and professional service. I’ll be back!
