  So, it was simply a bumper needing to be fix and they delayed the scheduled time for it to be fixed with completed repairs. It became so ridiculous I called and said let me have my vehicle. They said they couldn't do that. One thing, I want to mention is when I was dropping off my vehicle there was another customer who came in and stated they needed to get to their vehicle and get something out of it and the staff at Gerber collision acted very anxious and alarmed, and was stalling the man from getting into his vehicle, that was very suspicious . I took my car to get the bumper repaired. I was told that my car’s bumper would be finished with repairs in about 2 months. However, it took a whole month longer than they stated, 3 1/2 months. When I decided to asked for or get my car back they said they couldn’t and wouldn’t do that bc it was not finished. However, when I finally got my car back I realized that I left my iPad in the dashboard of the front passenger side so, why is it that when I looked for it it was completely disappeared and gone. I immediately went back into the shop and the front desk and she said she didn’t know and referred me to the manager an older guy who said he too, didn’t know anything about it and to check back at my place. Upon, my surprise a few days later, they flat out stole my spare tire, they stole my lug nut wrench (this was a special wrench that worked for certain lugs because of the type of lug nuts that went on my car), and Gerber employees stole MY IPAD! And to add INJURY TO INSULT thieving workers went joy ridding in my vehicle because my car had over 100 more of mileage of what I purposely checked on my mileage before I turned over my keys for repair. The only reason why I am writing this review is because I believe I ran out of time to file a lawsuit on them. They are straight blatant liars and outright unscrupulous thieves! I wish I never experienced this terrible burn from unsuspecting criminals. Then, later on I discovered these people are full blown thieves and professional con-artist due to the fact they not only stole my iPad but, they stole my iPad, my spare tire, my lug wrench ( that is a special kind design only for the tire lugs for my vehicle), and rummaged through other things.

  Let me count the many ways that I have been bamboozled, lied to, and straight robbed by this Gerber Collision in Douglasville, GA. I made the first mistake by not waiting to go to the preferred collision company my insurance company set me up with. I was on a wait list and did not want to wait so, I shopped around and found Gerber collision in Douglasville, GA with no waitlist so I decided to take my business to them after a truck rear-ended me. So, it was simply a bumper needing to be fix and they delayed the scheduled time for it to be fixed with completed repairs. It became so ridiculous I called and said let me have my vehicle. They said they couldn't do that. One thing, I want to mention is when I was dropping off my vehicle there was another customer who came in and stated they needed to get to their vehicle and get something out of it and the staff at Gerber collision acted very anxious and alarmed, and was stalling the man from getting into his vehicle, that was very questionable. So, I finally got my vehicle back but, I remembered that I left my iPad in the glove compartment. When, I looked in the glove compartment no sight of the iPad. I immediately went to the front desk where there was this black lady who directed me to this older white guy, who was the manager, I asked again about my missing iPad and they looked alarmed and guilty and said to look back at home in the closet, maybe I left it there. Then, later on I discovered these people are full blown thieves and professional con-artist due to the fact they not only stole my iPad but, they stole my iPad, my spare tire, my lug wrench ( that is a special kind design only for the tire lugs for my vehicle), and rummaged through other things in my vehicle that had nothing to do with the bumper being fixed. Then, it strongly appears they went joy-riding out of town being that I checked and wrote down the mileage on my vehicle before releasing it for repairs to Gerber Collision and when it was returned it was over 200 miles more on my mileage gauge. This was an auto repair nightmare along with all the other things I was dealing with at the time. I am only writing the review because I believe I ran out of time and couldn't find them under the correct name to take them to court. If you take heed to nothing else please, stay away from this Gerber collision Auto & Glass repair period, it is not worth the time, money, or headache! Go the other way and fly like the wind behind you from this unscrupulous company.

  I got in an accident a couple of weeks ago. My insurance sent me to Gerber Collision for repair. They called and I set up my appt with them. Went to drop my car off and they called the rental car to come pick me up. I received text message updates almost every day. They finished my car faster than I expected and the work was top notch!! When I went to pick it up, I left the keys to the rental car with them. It was an easy and flawless experience. Honestly, it was the easiest repair shop I’ve ever dealt with and the staff was t awesome and attentive. Thank you Gerber Collision for making what was a frustrating issue… so easy!

  All I have to say is if you're BLACK, please stay away from this company. I have an accident, front end accident and the guy that came out to look at my car. This is what actually happend. Looked at my car and said he did not see any damages. I popped the hood for him to review, he closed the hood and said I don't need that. There is no under the hood damages. Ladies, you would have been so proud of me, I said "Oh". He did not write my car up until I told him I had pictures of the accident. And then he only placed on thing on the report after we discussed. Also, for all of you to know. This was a claim with USAA and I have had the worst time with them. I will be going back to Allstate.

  Had a minor accident a few weeks back and the responsible party's insurance had me take my truck to this Gerber location. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. Repair window given was about 2 weeks but I got my truck back in 9 days and the work was great. Overall great experience.
