Great experience. David inspected my flat, which was sadly not patch-able but promptly had the team replace my tire same day. I appreciated that they gave me a good price based on my research of comparable tires at other locations and seemed trustworthy/didn’t try to upsell me unnecessarily like some places would have. Made a very stressful day much calmer.

Had the best experience at this location. The staff was patient and took great care of me. I own a VW ID.4 I bought a year ago used from Carvana. Didn’t notice I had wheel locks on my car. Driving down the highway I hear some noise that I think is someone else’s car and I am like yeesh they need to get that muffler fixed then I realize it’s me. I get off the highway park my car and my tire is gone!!! Peeled off the wheel. There is a little piece of tire on the edges of the wheels protecting the wheel. I find out then the car does not come with a spare tire but some fix a flat tire stuff and a pump. Kind of hard to use that without a tire. And on top of that the previous owner took the dang wheel lock key. No big deal. I’ve lost my wheel lock key on my Toyota before called the dealership got a replacement. I call VW and they are like nope we don’t sell those but you can come in and we will take them off for 175-200 bucks, and the tire for your car starts at 400!!!! I’m like nope can’t do it. I call Carvana which I can’t talk to anyone to I have to do a whole chat thing and they say well you had 7 days to let us know about anything missing on your car for us to do anything about it. So good luck. I call around and nobody has my tire in stock I call this location they tell me we don’t have it but we can get it the next day. Done deal!! tow truck let’s go!! We get there they tell me we should have you ready to go the next day. I completely forgot about the wheel lock key. They call me I say let me go to the VW dealership because clearly I’m talking to the wrong people. I get there they tell me the same dang story. My mind is blown. I go by to tell the folks at Mavis that I’m working on it and they are like ok cool deal. I end up buying a wheel key off Amazon after a good hour of searching the internet. It cost around 13 dollars. Took it to Mavis they were able to take them off and replace with regular wheel studs and I’m back riding. Took about a whole week. But the shop was patient and kind and fair with me. I will definitely recommend business to them and go back

I had a random tire sensor warning pop up, and luckily there was a Mavis Tires right around the corner. I pulled up and they checked my car out immediately. No appointment, and they still got me in and out in about 45 minutes. They were able to quickly source the issue and swapped out my TPMS sensor, which fixed the warning. The waiting area was clean, and the staff was great. David (the manager) was especially friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future vehicle needs.

Matthew let me know the issues that was going on with my rotors and pads, physically showed me the pads and rotors, and worked within my budget for service. He talked about warranty information. I’ll edit this post after service is complete and give a complete review of Mavis Tires and Brakes in Decatur regarding the alignment, brake pads and rotors replacement. I’ll rate it a 5 if service is completed with excellence.

I come to this Mavis location pretty regularly and they consistently get the job done with no fuss and no attitude. The entire team is accommodating, professional, and informative. I genuinely leave learning something new about cars and about my own vehicle specifically — every time I’m here, which I really appreciate. I especially want to shout out David. He has always been incredibly helpful, patient, and honest whenever I come in. He takes his time to explain what’s going on and makes sure you feel taken care of without making you feel rushed or pressured. It’s rare to come across people who lead with that level of care and professionalism, and it never goes unnoticed. Also, shoutout to Matthew and the rest of the team for keeping everything running smoothly. And while it’s been a few months since I last spoke with Naquan, he was very helpful the last time I called with questions and I’ve always had a good experience with this location overall. Mavis provides a stress-free, reliable service every time and I highly recommend getting your car serviced here.
