  I would like to thank Jeb the manager at this location. He was very knowledgeable and brought something to my attention that a competitor garage charge me for in the past that I should not have been charged for. I found Jeb to be very honest and he didn't try to up sell me. All the technician at this location were super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this location for thir outstanding service.

  Jed was very helpful! Showed me the options and let me pick with no pressure. They got my car in and out in less time than they said. Best tire experience that I have had.

  My experience here was not acceptable. From micro aggressions to giving misguided and outlandish advice, Caleb Parrish ( Manager btw) was not pleasant to talk, to say the least. Definitely needs a lot more training on manners and overall customer service! Would have much rather gone to a different location. Never again.

  Questioning their trustworthiness. I knew I needed a new battery. They tested it and said I did. Fair enough. While also under the hood, the "front of service " guy, Caleb, said he could smell coolant and said my coolant level was low - I have not smelled any coolant or had any issues with the car running hot - he also directed me to look inside the coolant reservoir at the low coolant level instead of the side of the reservoir where the coolant level is marked. Caleb also tried to upsell me on a super expensive battery. He quoted me 350 for the battery and "unknown" amount for the coolant issue until they looked under the hood. I'm sure he knows what the price of a coolant flush is but he didn't want to tell me. "Back of the house" guy, name unknown, came out after about an hour and said the battery would be $350 and the coolant flush would be $135. I told him I did not want the expensive (AGM) battery which he agreed I did not need to put in a 2008 model car. I gave him permission to do the standard battery change and coolant flush for a total of $500 and some change. No one specified whether or not they found a leak or if a coolant flush was actually necessary but I figured better safe than sorry, right?! After another hour or two, my car was ready. The breakdown on the receipt listed the coolant flush as $149.99 and the actual price of the battery was never listed, only the $30 disposal fee. There was also a coupon applied that took off $100. The total was $499. I found the receipt break down, or lack thereof, a little suspect. I think I got taken advantage of on the coolant flush and they tried to take advantage of me with an unnecessary battery upgrade. Would I go back? Maybe if I was desperate but I would question everything they told me. The whole experience just gave me an "ick" feeling.

I had my tires changed here and worked with Jed Logan, who was extremely helpful with pricing and selecting the best tire for my car while staying within my budget. The service also included a free oil change, wheel alignment, and inspection at no additional cost, along with several other added benefits. The staff was professional, honest, and efficient throughout the process. No unnecessary upselling. I highly recommend Tire Discounters in Dawsonville for any car service needs.
