Came in today to buy a new battery for my wife's vehicle. I asked for some tools to go ahead and swap out the battery and get them the core. They refused and said it was against their policy. I told the guy that I had bought the battery that's in the vehicle from them 3 years ago and changed it out in this very parking lot with tools from AutoZone. He said that it was the the manager's policy. So they refused to let me use tools to swap out the battery which every other AutoZone has always done and then watched me jump off my wife's vehicle with my truck in the parking lot. Change your ridiculous policy and I will take this one star review down.

I rarely ever write reviews but I believe this is very necessary.
Yesterday, I came to this location to correct a mistake from a previous AutoZone. My mom was advised to buy the incorrect oil for her vehicle. I am rarely ever on this side of town but she called and asked me check her oil in her vehicle. It could use a top off so she gave me the oil she bought from AutoZone with the oil and receipt in the bag. I immediately noticed it’s the incorrect weight for the vehicle so I decided to go to get it exchanged. I walked in, waited my turn in line, and walked up to speak to the guy at the counter(Tom). He looked at receipt and says it’s been past 90 days I can’t do anything for you. I said my mom bought this oil from Autozone and someone gave her the wrong one. (She said she gave them the year, make, and model) He reiterates there is nothing I can do for you. I said I have the original receipt and the card in my hand, I’m not into any funny business, I would just like to get the right oil for her car. Another employee(Monica) says we can’t help you and decides to mock me and keep speaking over me saying have a good day, have a good day, trying to be a smart ass. I grabbed my stuff and walked and said this kind of customer service is despicable. Good help is hard to find but spend your hard earned money elsewhere. AutoZone used to value customer service but not anymore.

My car battery died, and left me stranded with two kids. The kindness, genuine care, and selfless service was unparalleled. They didn’t just do their jobs they went above and beyond their duties, and did what they didn’t have to do to help us. They are exceptional people, and they showed that there is goodness in this world. They saved us. Thank you!
