  SafeLite is wonderful...they were very proactive at communicating with us every step of the way and they also represented us in dealing with State Farm insurance which I greatly appreciated.

  Outstanding work. Technician saw a flaw in the original windshield he received. He sent it back and requested another windshield and had it delivered to his previous appointment. By doing this he showed up to my appointment with the new windshield so there was no delay. This is exactly how to manage this situation and I commended him for this. Work was completed perfectly and quickly. Thanks Safelite

  The technician called before he finished up with his previous appointment and told me he would contact me as soon as he was on the way he was on time and completed the work in a very timely manner got me going and left everything spotless Thank You Jacob you were awesome

  It was very easy to setup an appointment online and I even paid for my service in advance. The technician showed up within the scheduled time period, but before he started the work he said to me, "Hey, I just want you to know that I am probably going to damage the painted trim around your windshield and will also probably destroy the seal when I remove your windshield. I do have a seal that is kind of similar, but it may not look right on your Acura. It may be OK though, but I cannot guarantee it. Do you want me to install it anyway or do you want me to just leave?" I had already paid for the windshield and the installation and I had expected expert installation as Safelite is a large national company. I told the technician that I would like him to be very careful not to damage the car as he replaced the windshield as the car the car was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I had to get the windshield replaced, which made me feel like I didn't have many options at that point. I felt sick in my stomach, but I told the technician to proceed with the installation after he assured me that there are very inexpensive parts available on EBay if there was a problem. Well, he broke the mounting clips on my window trim pieces and said that he doesn't know exactly what I need get to fix it, but I can just order new ones on EBay. I went to EBay and pointed out that the parts are unpainted and it was unclear if new mounting clips were included with what I was looking at. I told the technician that I am not a mechanic and that I have no idea what I need to order to fix this problem. The technician told me that it happens all the time and I just need to figure it out and that they can send someone to help me install it when I get the parts. I asked him about the paint and he said that he doesn't know anything about that, but that I should just try to find one that is already painted. At this point I don't know if I need to go to a body shop or back to the dealer in order to get my window trim fixed properly. In the commercials the whole process looks easy. My experience has been anything but that and I have no idea what it is going to take to finish the installation that I paid the "Experts" to perform. Save yourself massive grief and don't use these guys or you may be stuck with a half finished job too! Additional Note on 2/27/2026: I originally rated Safelite one Star due to the horror of the experience. After this review, I was contacted by the Assistant Manager from the store and she told me that the tech who serviced my vehicle was from Mississippi, was temporarily helping them out, and did not represent their store location. She ordered the correct, color matched parts from Acura and had one of her technicians come to my house and install them. The car looks fine now, but if you have a Honda or Acura vehicle, be aware that the trim around the auto glass will probably break when they remove it from your vehicle. I would recommend asking about this before you book and pay for your service.
