  I went to grab a granola bar and on the price tag it said 3.49 When I got up to the register it came up as 3.89 (4.01) total. When the employee was confronted about the price being rung up wrong, they said oh we will go change the price and changed it to 3.89 so they completely changed the price to make it the higher price and charged me the higher price then the price that the granola bar was originally priced. Ridiculous. I say. Ridiculous. I will not be coming back to this location

  I’d like to update my previous review from last year, which I’ve since deleted. At that time, I honestly didn’t think I would come back. However, over the last couple of months, I’ve been stopping here late at night to get gas on my way home since it’s conveniently right before my exit, and my experience has completely changed. The service here is absolutely fantastic. The young lady who works late nights is always available, the doors are always open, and there’s never a sign saying they’re closed or stepping away. She is incredibly pleasant, always greets everyone with a smile, takes great care of customers, and makes sure to say goodbye when people leave. When I come a little earlier, the team has snacks and pizzas ready, and everything is well stocked. This place has truly turned my opinion around. It’s always clean, organized, and welcoming. I really appreciate the effort and consistency from the staff. I want to give the highest recommendation possible, especially to the late-night attendant. She is a 10 out of 10, and if I could give higher, I would. Thank you, RaceTrac, for whatever changes were made. You clearly have the right people in place now. I’ll continue stopping here late at night, and I appreciate you all tremendously.

  I want to thank Aaron from this store for helping an old lady figure out how to make the air machine work! He was so nice and patient with me! You are lucky to have him as an employee.

  5:45am Tuesday morning. This is what I’m sick of…every other day this store and a couple other stores are closed due to short staffed. They have plenty of food cooked just sitting there, but just randomly decide when they open? Luckily I waited 5 minutes, and an employee showed up for work. I asked her if they are going to open, and she said “they’re closed”? What a joke. When I got inside to make coffee, another customer spoke to me and said “I’m so sick of racetrac not being open in the morning”. No wonder this location has such a low score. Get your stuff together.

  On 10/6 I went in to buy some snacks as I do every morning as I work next door and come in everyday. I did the self check out and chose no receipt. I get back to work and bite into my slim Jim it was hard as a rock. I look at the expiration date and it is over 4 months old. I went back inside where I was met by “Esme” she was so RUDE. No apology, looking at me crazy, nothing to offer, just straight up doesn’t want to be there and dismisses me. I said to her “a refund?! Another slim Jim?!” She just started pressing buttons on the register and gave me 2.45. I said I paid with my card. She said I’ll just give you cash. Finally a shift manager “Kim” came over and was BEYOND PROFESSIONAL AND KIND! She apologized, asked me to show her where she and I witnessed even more that were expired. She removed them from the shelf and offered me a fountain drink and pizza. It’s not about what was offered it’s the lack of empathy and professionalism. Esme should not be allowed to work or even be front cashier if she is going to continue to be rude. Thank you Kim for everything
