I get back to work and bite into my slim Jim it was hard as a rock. I look at the expiration date and it is over 4 months old. I went back inside where I was met by “Esme” she was so RUDE. No apology, looking at me crazy, nothing to offer, just straight up doesn’t want to be there and dismisses me. I said to her “a refund?! Another slim Jim?!” She just started pressing buttons on the register and gave me 2.45. I said I paid with my card. She said I’ll just give you cash. Finally a shift manager “Kim” came over and was BEYOND PROFESSIONAL AND KIND! She apologized, asked me to show her where she and I witnessed even more that were expired. She removed them from the shelf and offered me a fountain drink and pizza. It’s not about what was offered it’s the lack of empathy and professionalism. Esme should not be allowed to work or even be front cashier if she is going to continue to be rude. Thank you Kim for everything
