  I have used the highway 20 Herbert Automotive location for the last couple of years at least. They are always so friendly quick and not pushy. I trust them and their kindness keeps me coming back to see them when I need something done with my vehicles.

  Had Emissions and oil change done 11/10 and was super impressed. It wasn't my first time there and while previous visits were adequate this time was different. Each service was explained and questions answered. There was a female who seemed to be running things and doing great at it. All the crew were friendly and helpful. Best of all I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Kudos to the crew at Herbert Automotive on Canton Hwy!

  This shop has excellent service. Daryl provided updates and services needed for my car. Staffs are friendly and the service is quick. Daryl gave a list of recommendations and I just need to choose the service I want done.

  Earlier this year, I went to this shop to get my struts replaced. In addition, I also got a C/V Axel leak fixed. These were not trivial repairs and cost a lot of money. I also requested to get my tires aligned since it would be a good opportunity to do so with the other repairs. The manager behind the desk at the time told me that there were two options, a $99 alignment that included 1 year's worth of free alignments, and a $199 alignment that included a lifetime's worth of free alignments. I chose the $99 option. Well, at the time of writing this review, I decided to take up this shop's offer for 1 year's worth of free alignments. When I arrived at the shop, I found out that the shop had a new manager. When I told this new manager about the offer the old manager made, he told me some strange tales of how this old manager made a bunch of false promises and that was one of the reasons why he was fired. This new manager refused to honor the old promise. This new manager also mentioned that my situation is definitely not unique, and that there have been far more serious false promises that he couldn't honor. I was small potatoes. I can understand how it would be problematic to have a previous (now terminated) manager that makes a bunch of fake promises. But at the end of the day, it's not the customer's problem or fault that this shop employed untrustworthy people. And at the end of the day, it was the same shop that made those promises in the first place. The other reason I visited the shop was because I wanted to get my car checked out. The inspection fee was $90, which was in-line with what I was expecting to pay. However, it appeared to me that this technician who checked my car, basically just scanned the check engine light, and then did a cursory glance of the transmission fluid. When I agreed to the $90 inspection fee, I was under the impression that this shop would do a very thorough inspection, checking all aspects of the car. I have paid similar inspection fees at other shops, where the inspection would take about an hour. I was not expecting the inspection to be done in about 5-10 minutes. I could have easily gone to AutoZone and gotten the check engine light scanned for free (which basically I already did, so the guy was telling me information I already knew). I was not happy with the original promise this shop made about the 1 year's worth of tire alignments being broken, nor was I thrilled about being ripped off with the $90 inspection fee. The new manager, to his credit, did waive the inspection fee. The reason I am writing this review is that it is my opinion that this shop cannot be trusted. I think things were fine when Herbert himself was running this company, but this company has been sold to a much larger company, and things have changed for the worse. If any potential customer gets any sort of promise from this shop's manager, I highly recommend recording the conversation. Georgia is a one party consent state, so that means as long as you are party to a conversation, you have a legal right to record it. I strongly urge potential customers to proceed with caution when trusting promises made by this company, and if nothing else, get this shop's promises in writing, or recorded.
