Absolutely incredible customer Service! I had a tire blowout a few miles from the store on a Sunday afternoon and had the vehicle towed in an hour before closing and Cody went above and beyond to fix the situation so I can make the 45 minute drive home… Above and beyond!

ZERO STARS or EVEN LESS!!! I give Herbert Automotive located at 3425 Keith’s Bridge Rd in Cumming, GA 1 star, only because there is no way to give zero or a NEGATIVE amount of stars. On Monday, December 8th I took my van into this location to have my door repaired. I was told that once the part came in they would call us with a quote and the repair would take about an hour. The needed part, the door latch assembly, was only 30 minutes away in Gainesville. We left our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan in their care at 10:13 am assured that we would have her back by close of business. I awaited a call with a quote that never came. Shortly after 4 pm, I received a call because I had accidentally left with my key, as the door wouldn’t close, it wasn’t actually a problem until that point. My husband ran the key up to them and was cashed out as he was told the job was almost finished. Since he was advised the job would be done in fifteen minutes, he came home and got me and we returned to the shop to pick up my van with her completed repair. We waited and waited only to find out that a different part of the door had to be fixed after all. (And this new part that needed to be fixed may have been the problem all along.) Again, we were assured that this would be an easy fix and the van would be ready for pickup the next morning. However, we advised them we wouldn’t be able to pick the van up until after work. Again, we were assured that it wasn’t a problem and the van would be ready and waiting on us as it was an easy repair. Kept checking my phone all morning, just to see if they called with any updates or new information. At lunch, my husband called them. He spoke to Cody…who had no information AT ALL other than that the door latch release cable replacement was the last note. (That was replaced after the original door latch replacement, because replacing the latch didn’t actually fix the problem. (We were charged $129 for the part, the cable. Said cable is listed as ranging from $26-$66 dollars at any auto parts store I could find to ask.) By the time we got there, we were told that the Door Striker was broken and needed replacement. (Please note when we took the van in, the door striker was perfectly fine. It was the door latch that was broken. So, if the striker broke it was AFTER it was in their possession. Or they got a door latch assembly that didn’t work with the door striker that came on my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan.) We were told that the striker replacement would take place Wednesday and we would be able to pick my van up after work. ALL day Wednesday, not a call from Hebert Automotives. We called and were not able to speak to a person. Then we got a call that said our window regulator was also broken. The tech tried to claim that the window being broken was our fault. I was very clear with them that I had JUST replaced that part earlier this year. I still had the receipt from its repair at Legendary Auto. Furthermore, the window had gone up and down just fine the morning I gave them my van for the door latch repair. Finally we got a call back and were told they were not sure what was going on with our vehicle. Shortly before 6pm we finally got a call that told us we could pick up our van. We went right over and were charged $130 for a part that cost between $15 and $50 from ANY auto parts store or Walmart. Additionally, we were charged a total of $36 dollars for replacement of our windshield wipers. They replaced my RainX windshield wiper blades which had just been replaced in August, with generic ones that were a full $10 cheaper per blade. So not only did a repair we were assured would take an hour after the part came in, end up taking 3 DAYS…it ended up costing us a total of $683. Rather than the $400-$500 that most other auto repair places I’ve called to check with say it should have cost. Don’t bother going to this location. I’m not sure about other locations BUT definitely avoid the Keith’s Bridge Herbert Automotive at all costs.
