  I've used Goodyear for years, but since moving from Augusta GA to the SC coast I have been underwhelmed by the Goodyear store closest to me, so when my brakes began grinding when I was visiting my daughter I hoped that this store would get close to my good experiences with the Augusta GA Washington Road store. They did. I took my car in on a Monday morning before they opened and Su, the Service Manager, quickly presented me with a long list of problems with pricing. I paired that list down to what I wanted them to do and what I could handle myself. New rear brakes and tires, oil change, cabin and engine air filter changes, all wheel alignment and diagnosing an electrical accessory loss of power (which the invoice did not show a charge for) were accomplished in short order. He promised that all the work should be complete by 12:30pm. At one point I asked what additional costs I had incurred because I had scored the rotors from the metal to metal contact from the pads being completely worn down. Bobby, Customer Adviser, answered that newer car rotors are so thin that regrinding them is not an option and that chances are they would have replaced them anyway even if they weren't scored. That made me feel better. I appreciated that the waiting area had a large window where I could view my car being worked on, primarily by Maddie (Madison), a young woman who had transferred in from another location according to Su. Good for Goodyear to break the perception that only men can work on cars. From the invoice, Jake also worked on my car. I asked for the tires, so Maddie had wrapped them in plastic sheeting and put them in the back seat. Somehow I don't think a guy would have done that. Following the service concept of "under promising and over delivering" Su presented me with the invoice at 10:50am, 1 hour 40 minutes early explaining that Maddie focused on my car alone, allowing the work to be completed early. At all points I felt that this store treated my car and I with respect, all customers that were served during my time at the store received the same treatment, even when costly surprises were the diagnosis. I've read some of the negative reviews of this Goodyear location, and they must have been outliers. I'll probably be back if I can't find a location I like near me.

  I ordered the wrong kind of tires...they got the right ones there asap...then a lug stripped ...but they made it right! Thanks Goodyear!

  IT IS THIS IS THE WORST PLACE, THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR... I WAITED OVER 4 HOURS FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. THEY NEVER DID IT.Across the street is a truly recommended place. This place has absolutely no professionalism...

  This was the worst experience I've ever encountered at a repair shop. I took my son's car in for a transmission fluid flush and a couple of filters. I arrived at 10:56am on Friday, December 19th (no appointment needed per the shop when called the day before). After sitting there for an hour and 40 minutes and after watching numerous customers come and go, I walked out of the waiting room, asked the front desk clerk what was going on with the car. He proceeded to tell me "oh, they brought over the wrong fluid." I told him it would have been really nice if someone had told me, that I know it wasn't his fault, but HORRIBLE customer service. I then went back to the waiting room, only to wait another hour and finally left at 2:26pm. They apologized, said they got on to the employee(s) that brought the wrong fluid over, gave me $80 off of a $405 charge and sent me on my way. This is absolutely pathetic and I would strongly encourage anyone thinking about using Goodyear to not use the Bethelview location.

  Service so good I drive from Woodstock! Su up front is extremely helpful and they have very trustworthy mechanics at this location
