I stood there for 15 minutes as the manager and an associate went back and forth about whether they could assist me due to policy. After waiting those 15 minutes, the associate finally said he would come out to check my check-engine light. He connected the machine to my car, and when the code appeared, he told me to take a picture, then removed the machine and walked away. I asked him what the code meant, and he replied, “I don’t know, Google it,” before leaving. The service was absolutely terrible from the moment I walked in the door.

Since this location was close to where I live, I needed help, upon arriving, I was waited on quickly, but rather dismissive. The female attendant accompanied me to my vehicle and abruptly asked for my keys, she put the meter on it and gave me a code, I'm already nervous as to the find, she worked a code number at me with no explanations, saying I needed to go to a mechanic and ask. While I was trying to log the code into my phone she continued to rush me, saying do you want to take a picture of it, I need to get back inside! I felt like a burden. Thankfully I went to the other Advanced Auto in the Ross plaza, totally different experience of genuine kindness by the male clerk who had me to accompany him back inside and printed up the possible diagnostic problem with extra information. God has the right people in the right place all the time. And that Advance Auto will receive the highest review allowed! Thank you for listening.
