I recently brought my truck in for a spray‑in bed liner and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. After returning home and washing the truck, I discovered overspray on multiple areas: side windows, back glass, roof, and down both sides of the vehicle. I attempted to contact the shop two hours before closing, but no one answered. I called again on Saturday and was told I would need to speak with the manager on Monday. I asked if they could reach him due to concern that leaving the overspray on longer might worsen the damage, but they still declined.
When I called on Monday, I was immediately told there was “no way” the damage came from their shop. I drove back to show the overspray in person and pointed out additional damage where a grinder had cut into my rear window. The manager was rude, dismissive, and confrontational from the start, as though he was looking for an excuse to remove me from the property. I repeatedly explained that the damage was caused during their work, yet he insisted otherwise and kept reminding me that he had “done me a favor” by spraying a section of the bed—despite the fact that I paid extra for it.
Only after he spoke with his staff did they admit to cutting into the rear glass, and they proceeded to remove the overspray. The manager’s tone shifted slightly at that point, and he offered an apology, but continued to claim I had forced him to do something he “didn’t want to do.” In the process of trying to remove the overspray myself over the weekend, the rear driver‑side door glass had become scratched, and they stated that repair would be my responsibility.
Due to the manager’s hostility and clear desire to have me leave quickly—combined with the cost of replacing the back glass ($1,500+) and the side window ($550)—I agreed to accept a refund for the bed liner. He refunded $475. I am convinced that if I had left to obtain estimates, they would have refused any further responsibility, likely resulting in a legal dispute.
I cannot recommend this shop, primarily due to the manager’s unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Mistakes can happen in any line of work, but the refusal to take responsibility, the antagonistic attitude toward a customer, and the mishandling of the situation as a whole were unacceptable. Bringing in a new truck only to have it damaged—and then being treated as though the issue was my fault—was extremely disappointing.
