  Extremely helpful, reliable and very transparent. He saw how the dealer treated me with the diagnosis they gave me and cut the price into a fraction and fixed the real problem with my truck. Highly recommended!

  To echo others, Davo Jr Automotive is a positive experience. It can be worrisome to pay for expensive repairs but peace of mind is found when the work is done right and priced fairly. Miguel and Rod were able to place my truck on the lift in short time. They quickly diagnosed my problems and walked me underneath the truck where they pointed out and explained other issues I was having. We agree on work to be done, date and price. Davo Junior delivered on everything. Parts arrived, work was completed timely, and we came in under budget.-That savings was passed onto me- Davo Junior delivered on everything that i could have expected or asked for. Good communication throughout and meeting price and well within timelines. They have a return customer in me.

  My 2000 Dodge Dakota V6 was undriveable with a seized-up water pump. But long before the water pump failed, there were seemingly unrelated problems too - a coolant leak off rear of block (?), 1st gear issues (?). I am fairly new to Columbus too (from Phoenix, AZ) and so I had no mechanic to turn to here. Panic time! But a co-worker recommended Mr. Davo with a glowing endorsement... And I am thrilled now over the truly excellent service I received! Mr. Davo got me towed in a couple hours, then shifted work around to get my truck fixed in two days (before the weekend). And the final cost was right on the estimate provided and also in line with typical regional costs for the work done. Most importantly, I have been testing the repairs for a week now, and it seems that the repairs were done right - complete and thorough. Now I finally have reliable transportation again! Just as important, Mr. Davo's experience & expertise led him to suspect that a water pump quietly leaking/failing for a very long time might actually be the root of my truck's other obscure observed problems too. So the water pump was fixed first. And sure enough, fixing the water pump made the other seemingly unrelated problems simply disappear: one honest fix done right, rather than tacking on two huge charges for other unnecessary work I had already resigned myself to endure. So I was very impressed by my service! Now I have a trusted mechanic in Columbus. So I will be back. And I will not hesitate to recommend Mr. Davo to others. He clearly has a passion for his work too. (Normally, I will NOT do reviews, period. But in this case, my review was well earned.)

  I recently moved back here from MI and read good reviews on Mr. Davo's services. I brought my jeep compass in to get fixed. Yall when I tell you this man went above and beyond! He let me know exactly what was wrong with my car and exactly what the repair would cost. He let me know what needed to be fixed now and what could wait if I didn't have the money to get it all done. My car repairs were done quickly and when I came to pick my car up he walked me through my bill. Mr. Davo made sure I understood what had been done and put a 90 day guarantee on his services. This will be my shop of choice from now on.

  I started taking my vehicles to Davo about a year and a half ago and have been very pleased with him and the quality of his work. I have taken two of my vehicles to him during that time (I think for a total of 4 visits). The latest visit was for my Lexus RX 330 when he replaced my timing belt and water pump. The cost was about $300 less than the cost range I found online. Every time I have left a vehicle with him, he has given me a timeline in which he will be able to diagnose the problem. Once he has diagnosed the problem, he calls with the cost estimate and an updated timeline. Every time I have picked up a vehicle after being repaired, he has shown me the old part(s) and explained what went wrong. I would recommend Davo to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable mechanic.
