I have never dealt with a rental company as frustrating, inconsistent, and outright infuriating as Sixt. After encountering an issue with my rental, I had to call customer service multiple times just to get it resolved, and every single time I called I received different answers from each service member. Not slightly different explanations, but completely different policies, different interpretations, and different supposed solutions. I spent over two hours on the phone collectively, being transferred, repeating myself, and trying to pin down one clear answer, and instead of consistency I got contradictions. What made it worse was that whenever I pointed out an inconsistency in what they were telling me or referenced what a previous representative had said, the rules suddenly seemed to change. The policy would be reinterpreted, new conditions would appear, and prior statements would be walked back. It felt like the goalposts were constantly being moved just to avoid honoring what I had originally been told. That kind of conduct destroys trust. On top of that, what is advertised does not align with what is delivered. Important terms are not clearly explained upfront, and their refund process is murky at best. Trying to understand what you are actually entitled to feels intentionally complicated, and when a company makes it this hard to get a straight answer or a refund, it raises serious concerns. Georgia law exists specifically to protect consumers from these kinds of practices. Under the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act O.C.G.A. § 10 1 390 et seq., businesses are prohibited from engaging in unfair or deceptive acts or practices in consumer transactions. O.C.G.A. § 10 1 393 makes it unlawful to misrepresent services, advertise services with the intent not to provide them as advertised, engage in conduct that causes confusion or misunderstanding in a consumer transaction, or use deceptive or misleading practices in connection with services. If consumers are being told different things by different representatives, if policies shift when inconsistencies are pointed out, or if advertised terms do not match what is enforced, that is exactly the type of behavior these laws were designed to address. Consumers in Georgia are entitled to clarity, consistency, and honest representation, not confusion and moving goalposts. I will never rent from Sixt again after spending two hours on the phone, receiving conflicting answers, and dealing with policies that seem to change depending on who you speak to. This experience was exhausting, infuriating, and completely avoidable, and if you value transparency and straightforward business practices, you should think very carefully before renting from this company because buyer beware.
SIXT rental at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport is a godsend. When I explained my problem, the agent, Brandon, sprang into action, showing me options and clearly explaining that, while the cost is a little higher, that I could not only rent a vehicle from them, but get better deals in future rentals. He got me the best deal he could. The service folks helped when I had questions about the Mazda 3, and made sure I could sit comfortably in it. Returning the vehicle was a snap, with friendly service, and patience while I was getting my things out of it. Overall, I'd recommend SIXT to others.
I recently rented a car at Sixt and had the pleasure of being assisted by Thai. The welcome was warm and professional. Thai went above and beyond to make the process smooth, clear, and efficient.
The service was truly outstanding, friendly, attentive, and highly professional.
Thank you, Thai, for the exceptional service. I would gladly rent from Sixt again because of this experience!

Extremely disappointing experience. This case was handled with a complete lack of transparency and professionalism.
I was notified of alleged damages three months after the rental, which made it impossible to follow the normal insurance process. In a standard situation, the rental company should collect the policy details at the time and submit the claim directly, but that did not happen here.
Despite this, they continue to pursue a charge of around $2,000 without acknowledging their own failure to follow proper procedures or providing meaningful support to resolve the issue.
The communication has been poor, the process unclear, and the overall customer experience unacceptable. I would strongly recommend others review their documentation carefully and be cautious.
Please be careful, I suggest to study other rental options
My experience picking up my rental here after a long international flight with an 8month old will possibly make me prefer SIXT going forward. We cut thru immigrations, baggage claim and customs too damn fast and arrived at the rental center almost three hours before my reservation time. My rep, Lyric, made something out of nothing and we were loaded up and headed out within no time. My parents were able to meet their newest grandson almost three hours earlier than expected because the SIXT team took care of me. Will recommend and repeat business. The car met all of my needs and the military discount made the price very very reasonable.
