The online check-in was convenient, that's the reason for my 2 star review other than that I would have given 0 stars if the system would have allowed me due to the experience I had with the person that was at the exit which I'm not sure if it is an Alamo employee or not, she was the worse I have ever encountered, she was rude, and very disrespectful. She snatched my driver's license off my hands, asked me if I wanted to go home or did I want my driver's license back, and that is just one part of the entire ordeal which started right from the moment I pulled up to her spot, I wish I had gone to the other lane because she ruined my night. I have rented cars countless times not only throughout the US but also in several countries and I have never had someone treat me in such nasty manner. I had to ask for a supervisor who ended up completing the process for me to leave, while this young woman was behind her own supervisor laughing in mockery like that didn't matter to her. I asked the supervisor to make sure that she addressed that issue with her employee, she said she would but not sure that she might have actually done so. At the end, it was Alamo's reputation and name who was being tarnished by employees like her, whether she is actually an Alamo employee or not, she is a representation of the company when customers are in the process of picking up a rental car.

We were very pleased with our car and the efficiency of picking it up. But I’m only giving 4 stars because when we returned the car there was no method at all to offer assistance to help me get to the terminal. I require wheelchair assistance and have reserved through Delta but Alamo doesn’t assist with transport in any way. Two weeks ago I had rented from a competitor at ATL and they shuttled me back to the curb at the terminal where the check-in is. That service was greatly appreciated.

Thanks Alamo! I have always used Alamo following 9/11 when I was stuck in Denver with a rental car and they allowed me to drive it back home to North Carolina without hesitation. Once again, Alamo saved the day for me recently - after arriving in Atlanta from Japan, my flight home to RDU was cancelled due to the government shutdown but despite all the chaos my reservation for a rental car (made it just in case) was honored and I was able to drive the last leg home. Thanks to Alamo for coming through in difficult times and for all the great service over the years!

When I picked up the car the gentleman that waited on me acted like I was a bother and acted disturbed when I asked questions. I have never driven a vehicle with all the computer stuff. I was sent out to a huge parking garage and told to pick a car from aisle 1. No one around to ask questions about the car. You are just supposed to know I guess. The gentleman at the gate going out tried to help me but it was so busy he didn't really have time. The adapters in the car were broken and I had to stop and buy a lighter adapter so I could charge my phone. I never figured out anything on the car. It took me a while to even find the switch for the gas tank. The lady when I came back was very nice and helpful. Maybe she should train people on how to treat customers. Very sad when you go to a strange place and people treat you like your stupid for not knowing anything about the way things are done. Not everyone drives a spaceship. A little more consideration would be nice for the future. Never assume that the person you are helping knows all about your car rentals.

I arrived with a reservation, a promise wrapped in time— but two long hours in the cold turned patience into rhyme. They said, “Just a moment,” as the minutes froze in air, a crowd of weary travelers waiting, each story met with blank stares. Customer service was silent, no warmth, no care, no grace— just keys and a quick dismissal, not even a smile upon a face The staff moved slowly, their words half-hearted and thin, as if time were theirs to spare, not the traveler’s ticking within. No apology, no urgency, just keys placed in my hand and silence where good service should have stood. When the van at last was ready, my relief began to fade— for grime clung to every handle, and the tires looked betrayed. Warning lights blinked like beacons, a dashboard full of dread, and I wondered if Alamo had checked the road that lay ahead. The carpet told stories of travelers past, each crumb a careless reminder that care had gone missing somewhere between return and reissue. So here’s to lessons learned in travel— not all roads shine the same, but I hope Alamo remembers that service shapes a name. Alamo Atlanta, I hope you see — it isn’t luxury we seek, just honesty, care, a reliable car and a clean seat
