I told him which one I wanted, and we agreed and laughed because I wanted the cheapest one out of the few options. He came back with the top option which was about double the price and when I asked about it he said “oh it’s just the taxes don’t worry about it” and I laughed because I’m not dumb but I’m also not one to argue and if he gets some type of bonus or incentive or something for clearing a certain amount then cool, but I would’ve much rather him just come back and say “we don’t have the one you wanted is this one fine”. The predatory switch and lying about what you’re ringing up is weird. Luckily for me it was a cheap oil filter, but who knows how far it can go

His name is Tom and he helped me locate a radiator hose leak near closing time that had caused our truck to overheat. This Man came out of the store and offered assistance without request. He found the problem, repaired the hose , and gave us a couple of gallons of water incase it happened again. Thanks for helping three strangers trying to get home. There are Angels in this world and Tom is truly one of them.
