He immediately checked my battery, explained that while it looked weak on the monitor, it could still be charged and should work fine. He took his time, carefully charged it fully, and didn’t rush me into an unnecessary replacement. It’s been running perfectly ever since, and he saved me $450. I told him which one I wanted, and we agreed and laughed because I wanted the cheapest one out of the few options. He came back with the top option which was about double the price and when I asked about it he said “oh it’s just the taxes don’t worry about it” and I laughed because I’m not dumb but I’m also not one to argue and if he gets some type of bonus or incentive or something for clearing a certain amount then cool, but I would’ve much rather him just come back and say “we don’t have the one you wanted is this one fine”. The predatory switch and lying about what you’re ringing up is weird. Luckily for me it was a cheap oil filter, but who knows how far it can go
