- BDBrock Deniston5 days ago1.0Bought new wiper blades on 2 cars within a month of each other. Offered extended car program and was told come in anytime after 2 years to get wipers replaced no questions asked. Came in today planning to swap them out. Turns out there is 1 year manufacturer and the added coverage I bought was for an additional year. So coming in after 2 years allowed them to take the extra money and not have to swap my wipers on both my vehicles. Go down the street by Kroger to get auto parts; not this store!

Both times we came here, the staff was really friendly and they replaced our battery and took away our old one with great service. This past time, it was a guy named Willie that changed our battery. One of the nicest people we ever met!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
