Jennifer greeted me as the service writer, and I explained that I had recently had my wheels balanced and my truck aligned at the Woodstock, GA, location, where we lived until December 1. That visit had been excellent. Over the past week, however, I started to notice a vibration I hadn’t felt before. Jennifer looked up my records and saw that I was still within three days of the warranty expiring. I didn’t even realize there was a warranty, so that alone was a pleasant surprise. It should be noted that this was a Sunday afternoon, around 2:00 PM, and the shop looked busy. Even so, Jennifer spoke with Ethan, who immediately said, “No problem, we’ll take a look at it right away.” The job was assigned to Avery, who took the keys and started the evaluation. About 20 minutes into the service, Chris asked me to come out and take a look at what they had found. All of the wheel weights had somehow come off while driving, which explained the vibration. Thankfully, it wasn’t anything serious. At some repair shops I’ve dealt with in the past, this is where additional “urgent” repairs tend to appear. That was absolutely not the case here. The team did a complete evaluation of all my tires, checked air pressures, corrected the issue, and had my truck ready in under 45 minutes. I was handed the keys and told, “Have a nice day.” Here’s the part that really stood out: there was no bill. Everything was covered under the Mavis guarantee. That level of honesty and customer service is rare and will not be forgotten. We’ve just moved to Fields Ferry in Calhoun, and they’ve earned a new long-term customer.
