Came in to get new tire due to catching a nail and wanted 4 tires as it was almost time. Tires show around $150 for exact size&tire before fees online. They charged me $218 plus fees and refused to comment when I showed them prices online for fake appt I booked 5 mins prior. They lowered my spare tire, stripped the gear then said previous shop broke it. I asked how they lowered my spare tire of the part was broken when I pulled in to which onsite manager just shrugged and walked away. Never again am I coming here. Shame on me for leaving Jesse&Grant at Goodyear right down the road cause they were booked that day.

If I could give 0 I would. Will not be going back to any Mavis. Everybody I know has had a bad experience. I guess the “techs” there do not know to remove water from tires when installing them. Took it to a different shop and now they’re perfect. Also. They stacked Several of balance weights inside rim to compensate for water but was unsuccessful.

Disappointed with the service at this location. The staff seemed more focused on identifying or creating additional problems than addressing the issue I brought in, which felt driven by upselling rather than service. During my visit, brand-new parts were removed from my car without my knowledge or consent, and I was told the original problem had been fixed when it had not. I only received clarity after escalating to management. Labor was also quoted at the high end and included work that did not appear necessary unless questioned. After spending hundreds of dollars more, I was offered a voucher to complete the work that should have been done correctly the first time, along with the suggestion that the situation was the customer’s fault. Lesson learned: I will be sticking with trusted local, independent mechanics going forward.

Either incompetence or intent. There isn’t a third explanation… I went into this location on a Sunday looking to get a tire plugged. As to avoid any confusion, I mentioned that my TPMS sensors were not reading on the right tires. At the very least, the rear sensors were reading backwards in the cab. Drivers side reading passenger and passenger reading driver. They were nice enough to tell me that for no charge they would recalibrate them for me. About an hour and 15 minutes later, as I am starting to get impatient one of the gentlemen who was working on my truck (who, to be fair, was polite and gave it his best effort) came in and asked me what kind of sensors I had and let me know that he was having a hard time reading them. Within 15 minutes of that he comes back and tells me that they will reset in 15 miles. All I had to do was drive for a bit and they would right themselves. Which I didn't really believe, but up and back down the highway I go. 50 miles later, still nothing. PSI readings are now NULL on all 4 tires, so he looks at it again and ultimately tells me that he can’t get them to work. He says 1 of them is bad and that seems to be causing none of them to read. So, I was asked to come back the following day and that one of the guys has more experience than him. So, I come back the following day and speak with David (the manager apparently.) This is when it gets crazy. First, I’m told the machine to read the sensors is out of date and needs to be updated and that “it probably hasn’t been updated in a long time.” Weird. Isn’t this a tire shop? I stood around for awhile and finally decided to leave my truck with them. About 30 minutes later I receive a call and am told at all the sensors are bad. That “magically” somehow the batteries independently, in multiple sensors… “just happened” to die while the vehicle was in their possession and that it would be nearly $350 to replace all of them. As much as I called this out as nonsense, maintained that they were working when I turned the vehicle over to them, the manager just wanted to assert that “they only touched one tire,” and how could the rest of the sensors die when they didn’t touch them?” That “stranger things have happened,” and then tries to convince me that “sometimes things like this happen, just like when car batteries die overnight” which also makes no sense to me. So, I take my truck (that I am skeptical that was damaged (either by incompetence or with intent) while it was in their possession) to EXECUCTIVE PARK TIRE. I tell them the sequence of events that unfolded and that I am convinced that these guys either have no clue what they are doing or are trying to pull a fast one on me. Within 30 minutes, Executive not only finds that ONE of the sensors is bad, but that it just so happens that it is the very one that MAVIS worked on that is now dead. As a side note, Mavis wanted $150 for an oil change (while they were spinning in circles trying to figure out a sensor issue,) and that I was more than welcome to look for my own coupons, to which I promptly declined to do. Shout out to Executive for making this right. Shame on David, the “manager” at Mavis for attempting to argue with me from nothing more than a position of absolute absurdity. This is either ignorance, or intentional and in *no way* is “Customer Service.” I repeatedly pointed out the ridiculousness of what he was trying to peddle at me, as he repeatedly attempted to defend it. Passing blame and doing nothing to make it right when it’s obvious who’s to blame is just crazy to me. I DO appreciate that MAVIS did not charge me to plug the tire (I hope they at least did that right,) but also was going to recalibrate the sensors at no charge as well. Unfortunately, this resulted in about $70 out of my pocket and hours and hours out of my time over the course of 2 separate days to rectify. I will never be back and will continue to share my experience. I have asked to have whoever is *really* in charge to give me a call. That hasn’t happened yet.
