They’re difficult to get off and back on and staff refused to assist when asked because “it’s drizzling rain.” Returned the wiper blades and went to another auto parts store who were more than willing to help change out the blades. This was my first and last experience with this particular Advance. I went here other Advance stores have always been very helpful but this one isn’t and the staff was very unconcerned that I returned the wiper blades because I couldn’t get them on.

I’ve been coming to this Advance Auto Parts location for a while now, and every visit has been a positive one. The employees are always friendly and willing to help—but this particular experience truly went above and beyond. I stopped by to replace my old car battery. One of the employees (I didn’t catch his name) began helping me out. As he was installing the new battery, I noticed he went inside and brought out Axel Martinez. I assumed he needed a supervisor’s help with something. As they worked together, I saw they were having trouble unscrewing a part. During the process, a piece near the terminal broke due to rust. Axel pointed it out and explained the situation to me. What impressed me most is what happened next: Axel didn’t brush it off or try to shift the blame. Instead, he took full responsibility and immediately told me, “We need to be responsible for this.” He then personally apologized and told me he would replace the damaged part himself. That level of honesty and accountability is rare these days. I work for a large corporation and constantly see people cutting corners, avoiding responsibility, or saying “that’s not my job.” Axel Martinez did the complete opposite—he took initiative, led by example, and showed true integrity. He could’ve easily said, “This happened because of the rust—you should’ve replaced it earlier,” but he didn’t. He genuinely wanted to help. I hope Advance Auto Parts reads this and recognizes Axel for his outstanding service. Whether it’s a raise, a promotion, or even just a formal acknowledgment, he truly deserves it. Thank you, Axel Martinez, for your professionalism and kindness. You made a frustrating situation a positive and memorable one.
