    I am livid. Tried to pick up the vehicle I rented and they didn’t have it available. They wouldn’t offer anything else instead. Person at the counter said she asked manager and they weren’t able to accommodate me. They claimed they called but I have zero missed calls. Had to pay for two Ubers for no reason. Do not rent here unless you want to waste your time and money.

    We had only had good experiences with SIXT in the past, but encountered some problems when picking up our rental car in downtown Atlanta. We booked a few days in advance, so SIXT must have been aware of our reservation. When we arrived at the branch in the morning to pick up the car, Brendetta informed us that she only had two cars (Volkswagen Taos, compact SUV) available, both of which were one class above the one we had booked (Toyota Camry, fullsize sedan). This was nothing new to us as this has happened before; in the past, we had always received a free upgrade. Not so at this branch: Brendetta tried to sell us the available car for a surcharge that would have been two or three times the price we had booked. Since she was unwilling or not allowed to hand over the car, we were told to come back in 2.5 hours. Maybe, just maybe there would be cars available from the airport by then. We had already checked out of our hotel and were at the branch with a suitcase and large backpacks. At first, we were told that we couldn't leave our luggage there. After a short discussion, we were at least allowed to leave the suitcase at SIXT and had to visit the museum for the next 2.5 hours with heavy backpacks. When we returned to SIXT from our museum visit, there were two cars that had been brought from the airport. We got a Toyota Corolla. Brendetta said that this model was also one class above the one we had booked but at this time was willing to give it to us. Since there were no other options and we needed to get going, we took the car and started our road trip. However, the car quickly seemed very small to us (we have booked cars of various classes from SIXT several times before). Research revealed that the car was a downgrade. Brendetta tried to convince us that it was an upgrade. When we had problems with the tire pressure the day after picking up the car (the handover report mentioned a leaky tire), we contacted SIXT. SIXT Germany responded quickly, whilst the US customer service still owes us a response. We were offered a replacement car by SIXT Germany. However, we were already hours away from the nearest SIXT station, so a replacement was out of question for us because we would have lost valuable vacation time. Now we have to put up with a car that is too small for our travel plans for the next two weeks. The tire pressure has popped up quite a few times during our rental time. It‘ll be interesting to see if SIXT will contact us regarding a refund. Brendetta asked to only write a review if we had something positive to say, and not to write one if we have nothing positive to say. However, we think it‘s important to state all experiences - positive or negative.

    Look, I rent a lot of cars and if I am taking time to write this much it's either a really good sign or really bad sign. I am happy to say that it is a really good sign. I rented through expedia and when I went to pick up my vehicle they had none, zero, zilch vehicles available in my class. I tried calling customer service. I was treated like a second class citizen because I booked through expedia. One person hung up on me. The other refused to move my reservation unless I paid $400 extra. I was told to call the other branches. Which I did repeatedly for an hour. No one answered. I am so grateful for Brendetta. Hands down the friendliest sales rep I have ever dealt with. She saw my frustration and communicated clearly and calmly. Never once blaming me. She told me that she was sorry but if I could come back in a few hours she would make sure I was taken care of. And so I did. I left and I came back expecting more bad news. Nope. She had a brand new car waiting for me. She said "I told you I got you." What a great employee and person. She even picked up the phone when I called after I left. My awful morning turned into a great afternoon thanks to her keeping her word. I feel bad for being short with her after getting off the phone with corporate, but am grateful she did not hold it against me and treated me beyond what I was expecting. Thank you Brendetta! Once again, Sixt phone customer service is awful. The Buckhead and Airport branches will never pick up the phone. But I'm still giving 5 stars because this location is great thanks to Brendetta.

    Wow, I'm sold! The customer service at this branch was incredible!!! Brendetta and Darryl were so kind and helpful, they obviously truly care about the customer. I have used Hertz and Enterprise for years and always been less than happy with the service. I think I will be renting from SIXT rental car for now on. During the whole experience, I was treated very kindly and professionally, and was never pressured into extras I did not want. Rent from SIXT!

    I cannot unfortunately give 0 star. I just showed up to pick up the cat I had booked online. The agency told me that they had no car to give me because the previous renters have not returned the car yet. What about giving me another car or giving me a call to let me know beforehand ? The worst part was the careless attitude of the woman at the counter that could (according to her) only give me the customer service phone number to find a solution. She hasn't even thought she could call another agency for us ! Shame !
