  I just called to ask some question after reserving a truck. I was told about how they have newer and better trucks that their competitors but people complaining on their page about getting old trucks and how to beware of this company. I’m definitely cancelling my reservation plus they are way more expensive.

  Please DO NOT rent from Penske! I rented a 16ft truck to move something to Alabama. I was given a 2019 Ford E-350 with 92k miles. I crossed the state line and my brakes started to fail, engine lights appeared and smoke billowed out from under the hood. I called Penske roadside assistance and someone was there within the hour. The water pump (held on with one screw) had failed and ate through a belt. Roadside assistance approved the repair to be done on the side of the road. I called them at 1pm and I didn't get moving again until 9pm. I sat on the side of the road for 8 hours in the heat and still had to finish my trip. I spoke with a district manager the next day and only offered me a $50 credit. It was insulting! I lost 8 hours of my life, which is only worth $50 to them!

  Tyler was very helpful (at the Atlanta location) with assisting me with my move. Uhaul cancelled my reservation. Highly recommend!!

  We are first time customers to Penske. Worst customer service from the toll free number on several phone calls...we had a 10am reservation. The truck was ready and it took nearly ONE hour to process us out.The truck size was also wrong. Our issue explained to the area manager for 6400 Peachtree Dunwoody Atlanta, Ga 30328....she offer only $20.00. We were told the truck left CONYERS,GA after 8am and they have no control of the Atlanta "traffic". #uhaulfornowon
