  I am sorry budget, but next rental will be going to Enterprise. I rented a car from Budget for one day. I had a reservation with another company. I had canceled because I thought the deposit was to high, which was $300. So I called around to see if there were other options. When I called budget, and first I ask what their deposit was and he told me it was $200. I made the reservation with budget, because the deposit was lower. What he actually told me, that if I had paid over the phone the deposit would be $250.00, but if I paid in person ot would be $200.00. When I get to the counter the next day, (1-21-2016) the person at the counter quoted an extra $100, so a $300.00 deposit! . I mentioned it to the person at the counter and she said that us what all Atlanta rental companies charge for a deposit. I hate it when companies say one thing on the phone and then say another in person. I was not prepared for the price difference and it took time away from my travel plans to get things sorted out, and it was because I was misquoted a price for services!!!

  Absolutely under no circumstances should you rent with this office. It’ll be easier and hassle free to uber to another car rental place. They’re privately owned so they don’t *really* follow the budget corp. I rented a car 10/25-28th… yep it’s December as I’m writing this… first thing they did was not let me know I would owe a $403 deposit to pick up the car on top of the $2xx something I paid to place the reservation. They wouldn’t take my insurance so another $100 on top of that. Front desk lady said I would get this deposit back (still haven’t received it) they only had one car available. Multiple people picking up, mind you. We didn’t have much of a choice! We had plans later. We agreed. It was a 2026 ram truck. I’m 5’2. I had to wait until the next day to switch the car out at another location. Everything went smoothly there. I refilled the gas and returned it to the second location. Picked up a rav4 the rest of the trip went smoothly. Or so I thought. Filled up the rav4 with the receipt from the gas station. Returned the car to the budget at the atl airport. Not only did I not get the deposit back. I’m charged a random $59 dollars a month later. No one could tell me what it was for. The budget customer service 1. Didn’t escalate my issue properly. 2. Took forever to get back to me 3. Finally got me in contact with someone to send me back to the budget atl with Jessica and have them be unhelpful, rude & unwilling to answer my question as to why I was being charged $59 and still haven’t gotten my deposit back. She said she needed proof of my gas recipet and that the math wasn’t mathing. I had two cars. Took pictures of them both full of gas with receipts to prove it. Claimed that was incorrect, thus why I was being charged $59. Refused to answer me about when I’d get my refund (it’s been almost two months at this point) Someone else had to jump in and tell me it’d be 7-10 business days, two weeks ago. I followed up and was told it’d be 7-10 business days. I’ve had a terrible experience. No one has helped me. The main budget company has basically shrugged their shoulders cause this place is privately owned.

  Zero star if I could. They told me the car was a 2025 and I was happy because I would be using CarPlay and other features to use Google Maps as I was going on a long roadtrip. Only to find out, all they did was put a 2025 car manual in the Car but the actual year of the car was an older version. Had to go buy car mounts for safety, and other things that I was hoping to get with the car since they said it was a 2025. Very disappointed and I won’t be going renting with Budget again. Called to see if I could swap cars but all they said was they couldn’t and if I meeded to swap it would be an additional $80 total. Which is ridiculous. Anyways, I do not recommend.
