    Need someone to help me to replace my burnt front light. I was lucky there was a mechanic there and he replaced it for me. The staff were courteous!

    I hope this makes it to the right people! Today 11-15-25 I stopped in around 9am due to an engine misfire in our Honda Odyssey while on the interstate. We live in Mcdonough and I did not have any tools. The crew this morning was BETTER than EXCEPTIONAL! Very willing to help, very welcoming, and didn't hesitate to call Jose across the street to lend a very needed hand! They had our coil pack and spark plug in stock. I would also recommend Jose for any automotive repair. Thank you so much for your help today! I hope it comes back 10 fold!

    Sirr the guy who helped me at the Howell Mill Location went above and beyond to help diagnose a further issue with my car beyond my battery. He found out my air hose to my engine was loose and didn’t have a clamp so he helped me rule out that issue. Still had some trouble getting it started. He tested the battery system and ran codes all which came out with no problems. He had a few things in mind it could be, but wanted to rule everything out that he could before I hit the road. He showed empathy putting himself in my shoes that he didn’t want to have me go after just replacing the battery.

    Went to Advanced Auto Parts to see if I needed a new battery and to get both the battery and alternator tested. A lady (who we later found out was the manager) came out to help, but she was more focused on her phone than helping us. She immediately told us that what we thought was the battery wasn’t the “right” one. So we started searching — under the floorboard, under the spare tire in the trunk — all while she scrolled on her phone and half-muttered that if we did need a new battery, they wouldn’t be helping us install it anyway. Super helpful, right? After a while, she went back inside and sent out another employee, who actually took the time to help us. Turns out… the battery was under the hood the whole time — exactly where we started. 😒 When we finally needed to take the battery out to have it charged overnight, the guy went in to grab tools but came back saying the manager told him he couldn’t help and that we couldn’t use their tools either. The whole thing was frustrating from start to finish. In the end, we got a new battery, and the rest of the employees were awesome — super helpful, polite, and knew what they were doing. But that manager? Total joke. If it weren’t for the other workers, we would’ve walked right out.
